Description:

This is a swap for ATC's that are hand drawn/painted only.

You MAY use decorative stickers/buttons/embellishments if you wish, but your own drawn/painted design must be the feature of the card.

The card may be black/white or coloured in.

You do not have to be an artist for this swap, but stick figures for example (unless very cleverly done lol) are not acceptable.

Medium: Drawing/Painting

Swap Partners: One partner, 3 cards.

Theme: Your three cards must have a common theme that threads them together. (ie: seasons, women, childhood, keys, owls etc)

Please write on the back of the card the date, your name, and give the card a 'name'.

An example of a 'set' of cards with the same theme running through them for your reference (and something similar to what you'll probably get from me) might be something like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/82069815@N08/7634695154/ It's my sleeping girls theme which I'm working on.

Three swaps need to have been completed and graded for you to participate in this swap.

Any questions? Please ask.

**I reserve the right to remove anyone from the swap for any reason.

IT IS THE IMPERFECTIONS THAT MAKE INTERESTING ART. NOT THE PERFECTIONS.

How are they graded before we send them? Thanks Sherry

Hi Sherry, what do you mean by graded before sending?

nasreen 07/29/2012 #

I think it means to be rated for them.

Ah right. The ratings for these cards should be the actual card itself. Not any little goodies that the person sends along to you (even though that is soooo nice to get!)
You should judge the card on the amount of effort that the person has put in. Not how perfect the card is, but you can generally tell if a person has spent a little while trying to make it look good. Not everyone can draw or paint, but you can tell if someone has tried. Let common sense prevail and remember: "It is the imperfections that make interesting art. Not the perfections".

Partners will be assigned as soon as it hits the 30th in America. (It's already the 31st here in Australia, but since swapbot goes by American times, I can't assign partners until the 30th in the USA!)
