I live in South Africa so my swaps may take a little while to reach their destination. I will not flake! And I pledge to rate all my received swaps
Hi there, My name is Nasreen and I love to craft.I enjoy scrap booking, beading, crocheting, reading, watching movies and drawing. I absolutely love receiving mail, specially from around the world and find it really magical to get a letter addressed to me from somewhere far away. I live in sunny South Africa with my husband , who is Moroccan and our fur baby Tux the tuxedo cat. I manage my husbands shoe and clothing store but only part time for money to feed my crafting addiction. When I am not crafting I am usually out and about at the museums or planetarium or shopping. I love anything oriental or Asian inspired like geisha memorabilia, sushi or amigurumi. I love all colours and need colour in my life. I simply adore pink, lime and specially neon colours. I cannot wear brown because it makes me depressed and am at my best when I am wearing bright colours. I am an avid tea drinker and love fruity, sweet and vanilla teas but nothing too spicy. I would love to meet people from all over the world and hope you look forward to meeting me too. P.s, I update my profile all the time so please feel free to check it out anytime.
This is me,attempting a sludge man.

What to expect
I love drawing and most of my atc's and art work is done in markers, colored pencils and ink pens. I like to use a lot of vibrant colours. Vintage and earth tones are just not my style. I rarely do collage but have often used ink stamps to embellish if I have one that I think is appropriate. While I do not consider myself as an artist, I do believe that my work has character and that my love for what I do shows through. I have some of my work up on my flickr account so feel free to check it out.I would never send anything out that I do not personally love and if what I have made is not your style then feel free to pass it on to someone who might prefer it.
Things that I would ♥ are;

Although I would appreciate most things and am not picky, there are a few things I would prefer not to receive,
BIG NOEL FIELDING FAN... Love The Mighty Boosh and Luxury comedy and The IT crowd and Never mind the Buzz-cocks and The big fat quiz.
I love movies so much that there is not enough space for all of them, so just assume I love all movies except war films, westerns and dramas. Oh, and I have absolutely no problem watching movies over and over, some of my favorites I can recite the whole movie.
I read too many. I like all genres and often switch between them when I get bored of one style.
But however... I can read Terry Pratchett any day, over and over.
I love to crochet, specially amigurumi and specially, specially play food.

I would love atc's on the following themes,
(I love anything doll related or girly/feminine.)
News alert My DH has bought the cricut personal as a gift and I am in love with it. I have the 'wild card', 'George and basic shapes','Art Nouveau', 'create a critter' and 'Just because cards' cartridges. I am always open to one on one trades for die-cuts, fonts and shapes if you need some.
My personal test for myself is when I complete a project and am very heart sore when it comes to parting with it. When I get very attached to an item then I know I have done my best and am ready to pass it on to my partner. I just hope they love it as much as I do.
I personally draw and embellish all my own ATC's. Although I am not an art student , I do try to put a lot of effort into my Atc's and would never trade one that I am not personally satisfied with. I like experimenting with mediums and though all are drawn with pens and markers, I do like to use foil art, stencils and other things. I appreciate whatever I get and will never be disappointed with an atc because I see a little bit of each persons personality in them. I like to use bold colours and my style is kinda pop-art-ish. If we are partnered in a swap and do not like certain things then please let me know. I do not appreciate harsh criticism because I do not think some ones passion should be criticized and their personal style should not be stifled but encouraged. Art is in the eye of the beholder. I do like bright colours but would like to collect all types of styles so if you are into vintage or goth or even maybe digital art, please know that I will cherish it and do not doubt your art for a moment. I hope people will feel that way about mine and appreciate my atc.
Thank you so much for granting my wishes, it is greatly appreciated and all these items are adoringly treasured.

ha :) i did not like animal farm, but it was about not liking the english teacher and that we had to read it in school!
Thank you so much for hosting the Zodiac swap in the "Putting the A back into ATC's" group! I had such an excellent experience with last months Pisces ATC!
Hi Nasreen :)
I just saw the Monster High Sketch Portfolio is on your wishpot list!! I guess the saying holds true that great minds think alike (or the fact that you told me it's the component of the MH Art Kit that you really like ;-) May you have alot of fun with it!
I received your cross-stitch project in the mail today. Thank you! I will go ahead and get started on it since it might take me a while with my work and all. ;)
