I've been married for a few years, and have two cats and two dogs. My husband is a sucker for bringing home stray animals so I wouldn't be surprised if a pony or donkey ended up in the back yard one day! The most recent is a kitten that we named Bronx. My favourite things to do are reading (my main passion), writing, cooking, writing letters, journalling and crafting.

I'm a girlie girl, my favourite colour is pink and I find myself buying stuff that revolves around that. I also like the colour red and yellow.

I love love love owls. I also like birds, dragonflies...anything with wings. I like pictures of cherries, and the ocean/sea.

I love little japanese kimono characters, and anime characters

Loving everything that is feminine such as ribbons, lace, bows, high heels, perfume, clouds, bookmarks...you name it! Anything to do with any of that and I'm interested in swapping things and making things. I'm interested in the 1600s - particulary the era of the Boleyns, spirituality (all forms), cupcakes, and japanese animation - such as Studio Ghibli (Totoro, Spirited Away and Ponyo are my favourites) and japanese art. I would love to study art therapy one day because I believe that when you can't talk, sometimes drawing or crafting can be a good outlet.

I run my own group on Swapbot - Instant Books. i love making these and trying to think of new ideas for them.

You can see what I'm interested in, and I just love to be creative. I always put a lot of thought into things I give people, because if it's not something they will like then what's the point?

I have never not sent a swap because I believe if you commit to something then you should go through with it. You've made a promise to someone and I wouldn't like to be disappointed and so I try not to disappoint others.

Reading is my favourite pass time - I keep a log of all the books I've read and review them all on www.shelfari.com I also try to purchase my books from a place called Better World Books.com because they support world literacy.

My favourite author at the moment is Philippa Gregory. She writes the most amazing books from the perspective of females - all based on historic facts. All based around the 16, 17th,18th and 19th centuries. My favourite lot of her books would be the Boleyn Girls books.

Other favourites include; The Secrets of Jin Shei, Embers of Heaven, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Boleyn Inheritance, The Dark Mirror Trilogy, The Liveship Trilogy, Robin Hobb, Juliet Marillier , Snowflower and the Secret Fan, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner (amonst many!)

I'm a pop princess at heart. Although i have quite a large taste. I love classical music, as I'm classically trained in piano having learnt from an early age, moving on to be instructed by a concert pianist then going to uni to study music performance. I quite like ambient and dance music too. Anything with a beat gets me motivated to do housework!
