For this swap you will go for a walk and take your camera. It can be a walk in the country side, a park or along city streets, as you walk take some photos, things that if you were taking your partners on the walk you would point out to them as interesting. a beautiful view, ducks your children like to feed, your favourite coffee shop, your dog enjoying the walk, things like that. Then send an email to both of your 2 partners describing the walk, you will need to attach at least 5 photos and explain what they are and why you are sharing that shot, help your partner imagine what it would be like to be on the walk with you, As there is no postage involved this swap is international and you will have two weeks to send your email so plenty of time to compose and send a really interesting account of you walk. Newbies are very welcome but I will be checking for recent 1's and 3's

As this is an email swap with quite a long time to complete there should be no reason to flake, but life happens and I will angel if needed.

I am new and this sounds like really fun swap to get started. Am I able to join this?

Sunnie 01/ 9/2013 #

yes you are welcome to join and welcome to swap-bot :)

BadTurkey72 01/30/2013 #

Do these have to be new pictures, or can you use ones you already have of locations?

Sunnie 01/30/2013 #

They have to be pictures of a walk you have taken recently that tie in together along a route so you can tell your partners about the walk not just describe five different locations ..I hope that makes sense :)

BadTurkey72 01/31/2013 #

Sunnie- yes that does make sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Have taken many wonderful walks and always take my camera, but sadly we have nothing but rain these days and no way am I taking my camera out in the rain, so guess I'll have to wait for another similar swap.

@grammycj I'm sure anyone would be delighted with an account of one, of your recent walks from before the rain B.C is such an amazing place please don't feel you can't join, I live in Wales I know all about rain ! lol

alicemayspring 02/ 1/2013 #

I live in Wales and the weather has been dreadful. Would like to share some past photos. Have joined swap if I am not eligable, been leave a message.

Sunnie 02/ 1/2013 #

I'm in Wales too ! As long as it's a description of a walk and it's recent enough to remember, which for me is last week lol please don't feel you have to leave the swap as long as people get a good description of a walk with relevant photo's all is good :)

Hi, I'm in Connecticut in the USA. I am new at downloading photos to the computer so I will wait and hope you have another. It is cold (20 degrees) and we are expecting snow for the superbowl on Sunday.

I will definitely be doing a spring walk swap as it's my favourite season ...that sounds a bit too chilly for me! keep warm I hope the football doesn't get snowed out :)

Going to join, am hoping for a fresh walk with pictures today, if not will send pics from a different walk we've had. I have many great walks I can share and am great at telling stories to go with them that make others feel they are walking right along side of me. Excited to see walks thru others eyes/lens as well.

If anyone wants to swap privately as well, just pm me. I am happy to send out to more than just my assigned partners.
