what I pledged

Hi I'm Nicky , I live in a small village in the mountains of North Wales with my partner and two boys,for many years i worked as a playscheme co-ordinator until I had to leave because of ill health,my 15 son year old is educated at home and is fascinated with the USA so is excited to see where my swaps will go ,we have the world map and pins ready lol ,living in such a lovely place we spend a lot of time outdoors. We have two cats a playful female calico and white and a grumpy fat black and white male :)) we also keep a native marine fish tank with anenomes, hermit crabs and shrimp etc in .My son has a hamster called digger

murder mystery, conspiracy, historical, Terry Prachet,fiction set in Asia ,the middle or far east ,Bill Bryson,travel books,popular science books,craft books, fantasy art books.books with photos of different countries I'll read just about anything

Lord of the rings ,The Matrix , Harry Potter,Star Wars, bollywood movies ,Monty Pythons Holy Grail, Interview with a vampire,The Labyrinth,First Knight, The Last Unicorn,Howls Moving Castle, Willow.

I'd like to try anything new , but I especially love ATC's,Skinnies,inches and chunky pages.Also matchboxes.

Since joining swap bot I've developed a passion for dotees,embroidery, remembered how much I love sewing and I'm also learning to crochet ..slowly lol

Anything AMERICAN I'm totally addicted all things American ,postcards,souvenirs,absolutely anything with the STARS AND STRIPES or the names of STATES on including craft supplies.

I have a sweet tooth and am a total chocoholic,(both my sons love anything peanut butter flavour) and love hot chocolate and tea

I'm also more than happy to do private swaps for souvenirs from where you live ,pens,pencils,tea towels, badges,fabric patches,postcards etc., you name it I'll try and find it :) I live in North Wales UK

walking ,photography, gardening ,dressmaking, ,cooking . online gaming (world of warcraft) I also play warhammer and 40K and love LARP (live action role play) i love nature and the seasons and spend alot of time walking in the mountains of North Wales

Apart from the obvious dirty, damaged,pet hairy or smokey I dont have any major dislikes

any war or violent images or items

and blood or gore doesnt do it for me either

for my boys aged 17 and 21 to have happy fulfilling lives,

to visit India ,

to travel through the Himalayas,

to walk along the great wall of China ,

to have a big vegatable garden

to have a duck pond,

to work in a zoo with the gorillas ,chimps or orangutangs,

to see the northern lights,

and .....this may be hard to pull off lol..i'd love to stand on the moon and see the earth in all its glory
