Hi, my name is CJ. Home is in beautiful British Columbia, I get to walk out in front of my house and look down the hill and see the Pacific Ocean. I'm a wife, mom, and grandmother. I am an American married to a Canadian. I have two sons who both live in the SE, USA. We have 5 beautiful grandchildren, two girls and three boys.

IMPORTANT: If you don't receive something from me, please message me and I will quickly and happily resend! Also please keep in mind that we don't have actual post offices, but outposts inside of stores, so altho I drop off at one of these my items may not be postmarked until the next business day once the item is picked up by the post office. We also have no mail service on Saturdays. Therefore an item dropped at an outpost on Friday may not be post marked until Monday or Tuesday if it's a long weekend.

Hubby and myself love to travel and do as often as time and finances allow. We really enjoy cruises. I love to meet new people and see and learn about new places. After a trip this coming fall I will have been to all 50 states and all but two of the Canadian Provinces. I love lighthouses, so many of our trips include a stop at as many of those as we find. The Oregon Coast is great for this.

In my free time (does that really exist?) I enjoy quilting as well as crocheting. I enjoy gardening however arthritis (I've had a total knee replacement) gets in the way of that more and more each year, so hubby does most of the outdoor work. Together we do the canning. We can most anything, including salmon. I love to cook, sadly I love to eat as well, therefore leaving me in need of losing weight. We are focusing on healthier eating for this reason.

My favorite color is purple. I collect salt and pepper shakers and refrigerator magnets.

I like most music other than country. My favorites would be classic rock or heavy metal. Such as anything ACDC, Aerosmith, Lynnard Skynard, Metalica.

I love anything written by Mary Higgins Clark as well as Dean Knootz. I like romance books however not Harlequins. I enjoy the Chicken Soup books.

For many years my all time favorite movie was Mr. Hollands Opus. That has now been bumped to second favorite being replaced by The Blind Side. I guess that would make my favorite type of movie ones that are true stories and inspirational. I also like comedy and drama. I'm not a big fan of horror movies.

I am a reality show junkie!!! Survivor, Amazing Race, The Voice, and others. I also enjoy dramas like Criminal Minds, CSI, Law and Order, Parenthood and others.

Quilting and crocheting.
My hubby used to do beading work. Recently he's taken it up again and is currently making barefoot sandals. He'd be thrilled to get some new beads to work with if anyone wants to do a private trade for something.

Anything Christmas related (cards, ornaments, etc)

Post cards, like those with lighthouses, animals, bright colors, anything touristy. I like to see new places via post cards, that I may never get to see otherwise. Have never had a postcard I didn't like, but these would be my favorites.
