Description:

I got tired of waiting for another one so I did one myself.

You guys know the drill... lets make the pieces 4x6 or bigger though... Some people don't make ATCs so paper any smaller would be pointless to them and if you do you'll have enough for two ATC's out of every piece.

Patterned or handmade paper. Something really pretty. No plain card stock please.

You should send 25-30 pieces of paper to three different partners.

Anything else that is not a full sheet of paper like picture scraps or if you cut a flower out of a card or something like that should be just a bonus for your partners.

I'm probably making sound more complicated than it should....

Anyway... 25 pieces of 4x6 or bigger paper to 3 partners.

I shouldn't have to say so but some people are cheap... (just kidding ;} ) but

THIS IS AN INTERNATIONAL SWAP!!!!

If you have any questions, ask away below....

Any kind of paper...would magazine clippings be included, or are you aiming for heavier weight paper?

user4465 12/17/2006 #

Coffeelatte, Magazine clippings would be an extra bonus. We are looking for craft or scrapbooking kind of papers here. I forgot to say no plain card stock. Patterned paper or neat handmade papers are the norm for this swap.

I hope this helps. :) ~westie

user4465 12/18/2006 #

Also, Magazine clippings are not scrapbook safe for those who scrapbook!!!

LINBUR0100 12/20/2006 #

This will be my first swap of this sort; any suggestions how to ship them while guaranteeing that they do not get all bent up? I thought about placing them between heavy cardboard larger than the biggest size. Would that work?

user4465 12/25/2006 #

That would work. Last time, I just put mine in an envelope that was big enough.

flouncypenguin 01/ 2/2007 #

Wooo-hoo! This sounds great! I need something to keep me motivated to keep working on my scrapbook. Sometimes I feel like more of a collector than a crafter.

A would prefer acid free papers, please.

sugarbooger 01/14/2007 #

would wrapping paper be acceptable?

user4465 01/17/2007 #

As far as I know, most wrapping paper is not acid or ligin free. Check with your partner to see if they scrapbook. Most wrapping papers are not photo safe. ~westie

May I create watercolor sheets? Thanks chickadee

timmetje 01/19/2007 #

Anyway... 25 pieces of 4x6 or bigger paper to 3 partners.

4x6 is that mean centimetres or inches? It sound fun to me. I do live in the Netherlands if that is not a problem? If not, I like to join

Good afternoon from Novato, California

I'm ready to send my papers but I need my Partners addresses. When will you share them?

Diane

rhodyart 01/22/2007 #

partners? anywhere?

FarStarr 01/22/2007 #

Just for the record, when we do get partners, I don't do much scrapbooking. And honestly when I did, I didn't worry much about acid-free stuff. So, wrapping paper (especially with ocean or fish themes would work for me along with cool papers. I use them for Atc's, collage, and altered books so almost anything goes! Thanks!
