Description:

For this swap you will have two partners. You will send each of them a CHRISTMAS CARD! :) The cards may be full size or the smaller note/card size. They need to be store bought. They may be "cutesy" or religious. If you are not comfortable with a religious card, or a card with Santa, or something this swap is not best for you. Any store bought CHRISTMAS themed cards are welcome.

Inside write one thing you always miss this time of year about Christmas, or something you're already looking forward to this Christmas. :D

Then you need to decorate the envelope for Christmas, somehow. This is simple. You can use a sticker (yes slapping is allowed) or stamps, or washi tape. Maybe even write the address in red and green :)

This is a fairly simple swap for Christmas lovers :) You need to be a USA swapper who is rated a 4.95 or higher to join :) Thanks. You can leave any questions here or message me :)

Why store bought?

To be honest, it's just easier to keep quality similar. I love homemade cards, I make them and actually prefer them when nice but twice recently I've received a "homemade card" that is a piece of poorly cut construction paper with one sticker or bad crayon drawing on it. That isn't fair when someone is spending money and/or time to make great quality cards.

I have to agree with @snailmaillover I have joined several crafty/homemade swaps and I spent time and money making the best thing I could only to get junk or something that looked like a child made in return. It's disappointing. I'm not the greatest crafty person, but I make items I would like to receive and put extra effort into the swap.

This has happened to me too, but honestly I do these swaps because I like to bless someone with something I love to do, If I get something of low quality, I can't control that. Everyone has different standards, it doesn't always mean they didn't try. And sometimes I just get a laugh out of things people send me.

Haha. I agree churlann. Personally, I would still swap with and be fine with something of lesser quality, but as a host I feel it my responsiblity to protect what other people receive as well.
