Well, here it is the 7th of September and still no car. But good news, I now own the card. I made my last car payment. Maybe some day, I'll get to drive it again.

Wonderful news: I still don't have a car, but I now having a working printer. I did not realize how much I missed it until I did not have one.

Update (july 30): I still do not have my car. The Ford place is stilling working on it. After they finish, it has to go to the body shop. Seems the lightning put pinholes in the body that has to be replaced. Sure do miss my car! I had to uninstall the printer to get my computer working. I have been trying to install the printer again and it will not cooperate. I am fed up with it. I am taking it back to the store and get one like I had before.

PLEASE FORGIVE; I have not had a very good week. Lightning blew every electric circuit in my car. Still haven't got it fixed. It also blew my printer. I bought a new printer. When I installed, it messed up my computer. Today is the first day I have been able to use the computer. I got called out of town unexpectedly and was not able to sent the swaps that I had completed. I will be home on June 29 and will get them in the mail as soon as I can. Please save your rating until I have a chance to send. I will not flake!

I taught public school for 32 years: 8th grade math and science; High School Algebra 1. I retired June 13, 2007. I'm starying with my parents to help care for my mother who fell in October of 2007 and had a hip replacement. She, also, has Alzheimer's. Someone has to be with her 24/7. Note: It has now been a year since mom came home from rehab. She is doing great! Praise the Lord! She is using a walker and can go just about anywhere. She just forgets to use it. Someone still has to be with her 24/7, but I am enjoying the time with her. She is still agreeable and loves to crack jokes.

HOBBIES: I like most crafts: especially crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, needlepoint, beading, basket-making. I am going to begin card making especially with pop-ups. I have now gotten hooked on stamping. I have bought my first 2 stamps.

FAVORITE THINGS: cats, pandas, angels.
