Description:

You will create (1) Zendala on 6" x 7" size for (1) partner. Color or black and white? It's up to you. Just be sure to take your time and create a work of art for your partner.

I had to resize the template for this swap to meet a standard book size requirement. The template I created is available here.

Print this page at 100% size so that this square border is 6" x 6".

DO NOT USE THIS PRINTED TEMPLATE; instead, transfer the pattern to a piece of your stock of choice. It is really simple to do this by tracing the back of the printout with a softer graphite pencil. Then, place the graphite side down on your art paper, and trace the printout with a pencil. You can also put both layers up to a sunny window or on a light box and trace.

IMPORTANT - Create your Zendala on a 6" tall x 7" wide piece of sturdy cardstock, Bristol board, Illustration board, or other quality, sturdy material. Leave the left-most inch of the board BLANK for your partner to bind the pages together at the end of these swaps (or after a certain number of pages).

Use official Zentangle patterns (found easily at TanglePatterns.) Use any Zentangle pattern you like to create your 'dala. Please use shading.

I encourage participants to post their finished work on the dare post.

This series of swaps is inspired by the Zendala Dare Challenge. We will be going through the Dares in order.

To join us you must have at least 10 Type 3's under your belt and no recent unexplained 1's or 3's.

I have banned three users from this swap due to reports of disappointing sends in previous rounds of the swap. I really hate to do this, but as a host I feel a need to protect everyone from receiving a swap they do not feel is equal in time and attention to what they send. <3

I'm guessing I was banned as it disappeared from my page

If that's the case my partners should not have given a 5 But thank you anyway

Lena, there should have been a message accompanying the ban notification. I am sorry but swappers cannot downrate as long as the requirements are technically met, and most swappers will address a complaint to the host before they will complain to their partner. I have to do what I can to try to make it a pleasant experience for all participants and I am sorry but this was the only way. <3

Now I am worried, can someone give me feedback on my last zendala dare #18 - it's in my zentangle link on my profile. I would agree on trying to balance the swap quality though
