Please note, please only send me the swap, dont include any extras unless they are on my wishlist, I am thinking about the environment and also the amount of storage in my house! I will rate according to the effort and thought put into the swap so hearts are still being dished out! I will also not include extras when I post out swaps (unless I have something in mind I know you really would love to receive) and would really appreciate if you could rate my swaps in the same way

I am 49, married and live in Israel, I have a 24 year old daughter and a 23 year old son and Hannah who is nearly eight! Love animals and my aquariums and paint, stitch, knit quite often all on the same day! I have a Basset hound (NOT allowed on the sofa or near crafty stuff!) and a huge aquarium

Anything connected with Judaism is always very well received, I love it and if you want something from Israel (whether Christian or Judaica) just shout, I will be delighted to oblige if I can!

I always aim for a heart and a WOW! not because I am bothered about hearts but I love the thought of making someone somewhere in the World happy even if its just for a minute ...

Favorite Music

Everything, right now its Rihanna and Amy Winehouse but always like Bryan Adams, James Blunt everything including Phantom of the Opera! My hubby bought me an MP4 for my birthday and I totally love it!

Favorite Movies

Thats easy - Love Actually, all the Harry Potters and Lord of the Rings and ... Phantom of the Opera. I love films and we have a plasma so we really get the benefit of them!

Favorite Television

There are a couple of things, mainly CSI New York, House MD and some reality. Love Most Haunted but only got really old episodes and anyway, when you have an eight year old you dont get daytime TV, you watch hers!

Favorite Crafts

OK - oil painting, knitting, hardanger, cross-stitch, painting murals and have tried just about everything else ... as I am rising 50 I am taking more care of myself so love Wii Fit and walking

Likes

I love blues and purples. Anything to do with being a (gulp) grandmother, anything crafty is always loved. Hannah adores pink, fairies, Bratz (aaaargh!!!) Disney so anything for her she will love and when she is happy ...

Dislikes

No plastic beads, I dont use them and I dont like the feel of them, weird huh?
No single buttons, I use them for biscournus and baby jumpers but dont see the use in single ones
Not keen on pink green or orange but everything in moderation is fine!
No ATC supplies except those see-thru slips and of course, pages for the folder to put them in! Those I would love!
Funny but I am with those against the clowns, spooky things, and I cant stand liquorice!
We are kosher, so please bear that in mind when sending food, especially pork scratchings! :-D

Wishlist

Jewish material as in cotton print, yes I know I of all people should be able to get it but I can't, they dont sell it in ISRAEL!!!
Anything to do with Hannukah my fave festival!

My family is lauging because I said OOOH Rachel even sent me some shopping bags from the market lol They informed me that it was just to secure the package. I can't draw, paint, do clay or anything like that and so I very much appreciate your work. I'm familiar with hamsa as my neighbour who is Jewish has given me a window hanging hamsa and she explained how the belief was that this was supposed to ward off evil. ♥ Thanks again Rachel. :o)

I am going to be celebrating Chanukah with my daughters this year. (Christmas too, but Chanukah for the educational value) Any suggestions? I plan on giving them gelt, playing dreidle game, making latkes and challah, reading them the story about the oil lamp....

Girl, u gotta check out the altered rolo swap: "Altered Rolodex Starter-Edit" ...It has the cutest pic of an altered rolo, and its such a great compact way to display your art, can even use atcs incorporated on your page!
