Description:

I love Halloween! This swap will be for a handmade Halloween Postcard. Here are the requirements:

Participant Requirements - (Call me mean, call me rude, call me over-protective...I won't be offended & I will not lower/change the rating requirements)

  • 4.98 minimum rating requirement - NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • No Newbies - must be rated for 10 Type 3 Swaps (NO EXCEPTIONS...remember completed swaps and rated swaps are two different things. For this swap you must have 10 RATED Type 3 swaps. If you sign up for this swap and haven't been rated for 10 swaps yet, I will not remove you until the day I assign partners to give you time to receive all possible ratings. If you haven't received the ratings by then, I will simply remove you and you should accept that.)

  • No late swaps on dashboard (I am not going to PM and ask about late swaps), by removing you from the swap if you have a late swap, it will keep you from possibly becoming even more behind. I consider this helpful.

  • If you have a reputation as a late sender/ late rater (non-rater)/ difficult partner you will be removed no explanation given.

Postcard Requirements

  • The postcards should be HANDMADE.

  • The theme is SENDER'S CHOICE!

  • Sturdy Cardstock for backing.

  • No Sticker Slapping (use creativity...sticker slapping is not creative). You may use stickers sparingly...and only as enhancements to the actual theme of your postcard)

  • No Digital Art for this swap. (see comments below). Although I admire those artist that can be creative that way and I know it takes a lot of talent.

  • Must be mailed NAKED...so make sure everything is glued down in such a way that it won't get ripped apart during mailing.

  • No ripped, curled, torn, bent, sloppy, trashy, hastily done cards.

  • Include a message (more than "Hey here is your postcard" - put a little time and thought into the message) , the name of this swap, and your username.

I vet all my swaps during signup time and right before I actually assign partners. If you see anyone that you think is shady, please feel free to let me know

If (even after I have checked and doubled checked the participants) a flaker slithers in, I will angel after you have rated the appropriate 1.

*If you have an issue with this swap contact your partner (and me). Communication is often the key between a 5 and a 3.

Is digital art acceptable?

Paige1900 08/ 9/2014 #

I am going to go with no on the digital art. ( I will edit the swap). However with that being said I just Googled Digital Art Halloween and there are some beautiful pieces of art.

But that may be a good idea for someone else to host...hint hint hint
