Number of people in swap:7
Location:International
Type:Type 3: Package or craft
Last day to signup/drop:January 7, 2015
Date items must be sent by:January 14, 2015
Number of swap partners:2
Description:

For this swap you will create ONE Artist Trading Card with the theme of Foxes, for TWO partners.

The -EXTRA- part of this swap, is just like the picture at the top, you will be making a tiny envelope to put and post your ATC inside, having received this card through the post myself, I know that the mail system will deliver it but do not go smaller than an ATC as they will not.
(size wise your envie should be just a little bigger than an ATC and not massive - this may involve hand making an appropriate envie).

  • It can be hand-drawn, painted or collage (but please no sticker slapping and use layers if you can).
  • This is a newbie friendly swap but no accounts younger than 2 weeks will be allowed in this swap.
  • Please bear in mind this swap is international.
  • Anyone with any recent 1's or 3's will not be allowed in this swap,

I do reserve the right to ban swappers I think may flake.
Sorry to be a bit of a pickle about rules for this swap.

Love the idea! However for the USA the minimum size an envelope is SUPPOSED to be is 3.5" x 5". I have received one smaller than that, about the size you are suggesting. But I'm not sure if everyone will have success with it arriving. I think the minimum size is to make sure it will go through our postal machines without getting lost. =)

That is a very fair comment actually Tiggerkitn25 - the envie that we tested was sent via the UK post rather than over seas. I have not given exact measurements, if you are concerned, do what your post office advise to be the minimum size.

Can we make a tiny envelope and stick it inside a slightly larger envelope?

I am not sure to what ends hiding large envelopes in little ones would have - but so long as you have made your fox ATC and small envie, that sounds good, like an adventure of opening more and more envelopes on the hunt for something... Im not sure what but something...
I may be a post nerd. I like that idea. I do appologise

The only reason I ask is I know I've sent small envelopes and had the postal service destroy them. but half the allure of this swap is a tiny fox envelope as well. So I will make a fox ATC, a tiny fox envelope to fit the ATC inside of, and then send it inside a regular 3.5-5 envelope so it is safe and sound. :3

I started working on the tiny envelopes last night and they're cuuuute. Partner you will squee

So excited to be back on swapbot and ready to start swapping. Does anyone here have children that likes to make ATC. My daughter would like to swap with another child. She is 10. :) pm me if your interested.

Thought Id give you a chance to get some ratings back OyWithThePlushiesAlready - welcome back. Although I dont have any children of my own, if your daughter cannot find a partner, I would be happy to swap a card. Im just as happy to swap with younger artists as well as older ones
