Description:

you must have a 5.0 rating due to the amount of care to be put into these~ be aware this is open internationally. For this swap you will be making your partner a mini pocket/travel sized Altar. please use something the size of an Altoids tin (roughly 2.4" x 3.75" by .83"deep) and decorate it on the inside and outside, its very easy to put fabric or clay or hard paper over the top and fit inside as well. many great tutorials are out there.

Please comment what sort of altar you would enjoy and use the most in the comment section below and remember to see what your partner would like as well, I will give ample time so we can all find things that fit our partners requests.

you Altar should include:

A small Altar cloth

a candle (tea light or mini stick with holder)fire)

incense(if they aren't allergic)air)

a small container for water

a small container for earth

(OR other representations for each element above) (EDIT: if the Altar dosent need the elements try to include things for the chakras or things that are useful for your partners core practice)

at least 3 things to suit your partners request. some ideas are charms, small crystals, divination tools, collection container, bells, chimes, ect.

these are all fairly small objects so they can fit together in your container and the lid should close safely so that nothing is crushed or spills out but it shouldn't be bare inside either, if things rattle around they could break.

Mailing:

Please package these securely and wrap fragile things with tissue so that nothing breaks. if your sending an oil or anything liquid please put it in a little zip bag with a bit of napkin or paper towel just in case. tape on the lid, the safer the better.

your mini Altar should be sent in a padded envelope please.

if you have any questions please ask and I hope everyone has fun!

I align the most with an eclectic nature themes. I enjoy Yggdrasil/ tree of life, Abnoba, Druantia,Cernunnos, green man, mother moon and many of the other Norse and Celtic goddesses and gods of nature. I travel the woods a lot and collect many things on walks in nature and enjoy divination through runes and tarot .

I'm an eclectic solitary Wiccan. I haven't been Wiccan for very long. I worship the Triple Moon Goddess and the Horned God. I am interested in the Celtic and the Egyptian pantheons. I have depressingly few charms, crystals, or herbs. I enjoy objects found in nature. I also read tarot and am interested in mojo bags or amulets. Anything referencing nature, the Moon, or the Goddess, I would enjoy.

Would love one honoring Ganesh.

OMG, I have a tiny set of tarot cards (about 1 inch tall) that would probably fit in a tin like this....I'm going to have to look them out when I get home from work.

I just have to join this swap, it will be so much fun! :)

I would absolutely love a kundalini yoga related altar (with pictures of Yogi Bhajan and Guru Ram Das), you wouldn't have to include earth and water in that.

I would also love a ceremonial magick themed altar (with tree of life diagram and hebrew letters).

It doesn't matter if you don't know enough of these traditions to make an altar for them. I'd also love any kind of altar you want to make. :) I like all mother Goddesses and fertility Gods. Dark underworld Goddesses and Gods are also close to my heart. Persephone is my favourite Goddess. My favourite divination method is tarot but I also like runes.

ooh a good idea if your Altar doesn't call for the elements are things to represent the chakras instead. I can add that to the list above for a swap out. ^u^

Whoops! this is a little late but I'm an ecclectic Pagan.

I tend to like celtic, dark underworld Gods and Goddesses and Norse Gods and Goddesses.
