Description:

With autumn just around the corner, I feel it is time to start thinking and creating Halloween. And what better object d' art for a group of chocolate connoisseurs as we, but a lovely little Duper-ou-traitez sac.

Oo-la-la.....it's a lovely little Trick-or-Treat bag! :-)

This will be an international swap open to all within the All About Chocolate group who have a 4.7 and no 1 ratings within the past 2 months of the swap sign-up deadline.

(So if you love chocolate, as you say you do, and you would love to be in this swap, and yet you received a 1 somewhere durring the past 2 months of swapping, clear it up!, make good! , get it changed!.......we would love to have you with us.)

We will have 1 partner and we will be creating for them a very special trick-or-treat bag and filling it with $5.00 worth of chocolate.

The bag should be a paper bag with raffia rope handels. It should be approximately 10" T x 8" W x 4" D. These bags can be found in art and craft stores, card shops, discount and "dollar" stores to name a few. They usually run around 59 cents in the craft stores, 2 for a dollar in the "dollar" stores and nearly $2.00 in the card shops.

The bag must be a homemade bag and designed / decorated to represent your partner's profile. Therefore it need not be the traditional orange and black.......nor would it necessarily have pumpkins, witches, black cats, etc. If your partner's favorite colors are, let's say, blue, pink and brown, and her favorite, let's say bug, happens to be a pray mantis, and one of her favorite hobbies is gardening, and she likes bows and lace.....We might create a bag that is pink with brown ribbon and lace trim and blue handles, has a garden scene with a sparkly pray mantis on the front.....and maybe a hot pink bow. Then again if your partner happens to really be into the holiday she may prefer an orange and black traditional bag.......or maybe something out on the wire......not quite your average traditional bag. Maybe the witch on the front of that bag is all in pink.....maybe she is driving a VW bug and / or that pumpkin is of a calico print.....or a paisley cat.

Once you have finished decorating your lovely little sac, you will fill it with $5.00 worth of nice chocolate that you think your partner would love.

The weather will be much cooler so it should ship safer, but I would still place your treats into a plastic zip-loc. We wouldn't want it's postal transit to go amiss, and your lovely treat bag a mess.

If you are looking to really indulge, you might send along something for her art / crafting as well.

Lastly....

Please try your darndest to get your swaps out on time. And as alway.....Let's have fun!

The bags look like this and come in many different colors.

the closest thing we have to that are those gift bags with rope or plastic handles. they are not exactly like what you pictured but very similar.

kerrlouise22....

That will be fine. I just want the bags people use to be similar in size and type. I don't want someone decorating a lunch bag.

(keep those for chunky book)

:-)
