Sept 26th 2008: I am very pleased to announce that there will be a new addition to our family soon. Baby Kerr will be arriving on April 10th. This will not affect my swapping at all though so don't worry :):):) Please don't send me anything related to the baby just yet. Hello everyone :) I'm slowly getting the hang of swap-bot and becoming very addicted! I've been swapping on other sites for a while now but am thrilled to discover all the wonderful swaps here :) As you can see from the rest of my profile, my interests are varied so i'm easy enough to please.

I am married to my wonderful husband for over a year now and our lives are run by our two doggies! When i'm not crafting or swapping, i work as a theatre nurse which i love.

I'm a girly girl and a tomboy all rolled into one. I love to explore different theories, religions and ways of life. My dreams vary from day to day, from living in luxury to giving it all up for the simple life (south american tribe anyone?). I don't make friends too easily as is takes a special person to get me.

I'm not easily shocked or offended... so be not afraid..

Ps. I love to recycle mailing supplies like boxes and padded envies. I also use the cardboard boxes i get a work for my bigger packages. I am a nurse so they are medical supply boxes. T hey are always clean and covered in extra brown paper wrapping but if it is a problem for you, you may not want to swap with me.

• Cute Patterned cupcake baking cases and sprinkles. I am just back fro the USA and i found some great ones in Michaels with different characters on them. I will always gratefully welcome them.

• Gel food colouring: again, i found these in Michaels on my trip. I bought all the colours available but will happily take more!!

• I collect cookie cutters and have a huge variety of shapes. I am working on an full set of full sized alphabet at the moment but will never say no to an unusual shape!

• Craft supplies for chunky books, atc's and matchboxes

• Beads, charms, colored string for beads

• That fine coloured sugar for coating brads and embellishments?

• Good craft glue, glue dots

• Things for embossing

• Rubber or clear stamps and ink pads

• Pages from foreign books or magazines especially french or asian, dictionaries, maps etc

Would kill for an Elvis cookbook, southern states regional food cookbook, caribbean cookboooks , USA BBQ cookbooks or recipes especially for rubs and sauces, italian cookbooks, mexican cookbooks, vintage/ 1950's housewife type cookbooks. I am also trying to collect regional state recipe booklets or recipes special to your state. For all you lucky USA people, i will always happily accept food magazines and recipe booklets from your grocery store checkout stand?

• Metal embellishments especially hinges etc for altering books.

• Fat Quarters: I like vintage, kawaii, cupcake or anything from my favourite themes. I would also like some plain basic colours as they never go amiss!!

• atc blanks, images, lettering, sleeves, etc..

• old cigar boxes, vintage storage tins etc..

• a kit to make a dotee doll with instructions. i would love to try this craft.

• Vintage items e.g. books, magazines, images, book pages, fabrics, papers.

• A cute shabby chic package, never got one and love the theme!

• Ribbon, Fibres and Lace! All colours and patterns welcome. Doesn't have to be very long, just enough to use as embellishment or biding chunky books.

• Scrabble Tiles and other game pieces.

• Swap cards and address labels. I can't make my own as i am technologically challenged :)

Michaels Craft Store:

I just had a fab trip to the USA and i think i bought half of the Michaels craft store i found. You guys are so lucky!!!! I would be so broke all the time if i had that place around the corner from me. I loved all the different buttons, embellishmenst, papers, baking supplies, ibbons etc and i bought a bunch of stuff. As soon as i unpack i will list the brands that are my new faves :):):):)

• I will always send on time if not early as i like to be organized with my swaps so if a swap does not reach you please mail me asap so i can re-send .

• Communication is very important to me. As i said before i like to be organized so please keep communication open at all times.

• If a swap is going to be late, please just email me honestly wether its going to be a week or a month late. Just tell me! I will of course understand. I only get upset when people lie.

• By all means approach me for a private swap. I sometimes prefer them to public ones. Just ask and we can sort something out.

• I always rate quickly and will communicate before i leave a low rating, please do the same for me. I like to think if a swap goes wrong we can communicate and sort it out before it gets ugly :):)

• I love forum tags and keep a record of sent and recieved on my profile as i don't write them in my swap book. So if i owe you something from a tag, check here for the date it was sent. If you don't see it, please let me know so i can send it out asap. Tags are only taken off the list once they are sent and recieved.

• Sometimes i will send extras if they are appropriate to the swap but i can't always do this. Likewise, i don't give hearts for extras. I don't think people should be so hung up on them, however that does not mean that the quality of the swap should be poor.

NB:

Please do not send me stuff from your junk pile. Its not very nice to open a sloppy package filled with things i have no use for. I like to think i put a reasonable amount of effort into my swaps and really would like the same in return. I would rather receive nothing than junk.
