I enjoy paper crafting a LOT. I particularly enjoy creating ATCs and cards. I also "fool around" with jewelry making, polymer clay, primitive stitching and small quilt projects.
I probably should add that I DON'T scrapbook. I have done a couple of mini albums, but I just can't get into those 12 x 12 pages. I would NEVER finish ONE of them, much less a whole scrapbook full. :)
I also enjoy altering "stuff"..whatever catches my fancy.
I'm getting interested in needle felting. A fellow swapper sent me a baggie of wonderful, colorful wool roving to play with. I still have to buy some tools.
I enjoy using fiber in my crafts and I also enjoy making small fabric crafts. Such as, Christmas ornaments, prim ornies, birds, peg hangers, etc.
I have collected roosters/hens since way back in the 70s - before it was "fashionable". I'm running out of room for them so now I've turned to collecting photos, postcards, art type things with roosters/hens.
I also love vintage linens. If I can find them cheap enough, I like to "re-deux" them into pretty items...such as covered clothes hangers, or plastic bag holders, etc.
My favorite time of the year is autumn. I'm not a fun in the sun person at all (red hair/fair skin). I hibernate as much in the summer time as in the winter. :)
My favorite colors are fall colors. The golds, ambers and browns and dark greens of fall. Also love desert colors - sage green, terra cotta.
I very seldom watch TV. Dancing With the Stars is about it. DH and I do enjoy watching movies from NetFlix.

I like most all music except Rap, hip-hop..or whatever they call it. I love Celtic, Scottish, blue grass, blues, early rock n roll, Beatles, Elvis, Rod Stewart just to name a few.

The Mitford Series, historical novels, westerns, mystery & suspense (but nothing gory)...James Lee Burke, Jame Patterson, JA Jance, Eileen Goudge, Debbie McComber, Ken Follett, Stuart Woods, Margaret Coel...I'm not a very "deep" reader. LOL I read in order to be taken away from the "real world" mostly.
In the early 80s we lived in Saudi Arabia for two years. Our children at the time we moved over were ages 8 and 13. Believe it or not, I loved every minute of it. I loved soaking up the local culture and history. Also, there were many friends and neighbors who were from all parts of the world. It was one of the best experiences of my life and my children say it was their's also.
My husband is 8 yrs. older than me and is a musician. However, it is now just a hobby with him. In the early years of our marriage he played the local clubs. But once our children started coming along, he knew it would be hard to be a musician and a family man, so he cut back and only did occasional gigs. He has a fantastic music library of early 50s and 60s stuff and now serves as an Emcee/DJ at a lot of local events such as reunions, car shows, etc.
I never outgrew my "cowboy and Indian" play days. I LOVE anything to do with the Old West. At one time my home was pretty well completely decorated in an Old West theme. But my DH got a little tired of it and we built a new house that didn't really fit the style of that decor. I still have a few of my favorite Old West items scattered here and there. I always said growing up that I would marry a cowboy. LOL Well, I married the furthest thing from it...he's a civil engineer by trade. :)
Sock monkeys - UGH! (Sorry to those of you who create and love them.)
Dark chocolate. Some of it is OK. But I prefer not to receive any.
Goth, gory, vampires - whether it's books, movies or handmade items.
"Sea life" - I'm not fond of anything that lives in and under the water. Dolphins are nice, but I don't want any. :)
Charms, charms and more charms - LOVE 'EM!
Ephemera - such as: tickets stubs ~ watch faces or parts ~ small lunar and fairy images (small enough for ATCs/chunky pages)~
Good quality fine tip pens/markers
Chalks
~ old costume jewelry (even broken bits)~
keys (but old ones)
Buttons!! Can't ever have too many buttons. Preferably vintage or unusual, but I'll take any kind. =)
Old vintage photos
Southwest or Cowboy photos from magazines, ads, etc.
