Description:

This swapidea is given by @TerryF, in response to this link.

Take a nice (old-looking) postcard, and find a little cross stitch pattern in one of your books, or on the internet. Stitch the cross stitch pattern on your postcard. You can find instructions in the link. If there are any questions, just ask.

Make one card for one partner, and send it written and stamped (so no envelope)

Swap image is also taken from the link.

So, we don't actually stitch on the card? Just draw the pattern?

skinny52 07/18/2015 #

Sorry, just noticed the link...Yes...we do actually x-stitch the card. Sounds like fun! I'm in!

Sorry for the confusion. I changed the word 'make' into the word 'stitch'.

Thank you, @taeniura !

:-)

Two things, can we use a handmade pc and add the stich to it and does it have to be a pattern of something or can it be just stitching?

taeniura 07/20/2015 #

Well, the example was a storebought postcard, but a handmade postcard will be fine too. I didn't want to make the swap too time-intensive, but if you want to be creative, go ahead :-)

What exactly do you mean with 'just stitching'? Let it be at least 'just cross stitching'. This is a cross stitch swap. But making your own pattern is allowed too.

There was a question if the card must be old. Well no, that is not required. It can be a new card too.
