Description:

You will be keeping a journal for the month of January. The catch for this journal is that you can only write one sentence for each day. You can write a very important thought you had that day, something wonderful or awful that happened that day, a summary of your day... as long as it is only one sentence. Please make your sentence more than TEN words long; make it interesting so your partner has something interesting to read.. If you 'had a bad day', write why.. if you 'had a good day', write why.. in one sentence..

Please do not just write a quote for each day..

Since we will only be writing one sentence on each page for each day, we will be keeping our journal small. You may even make your own if you like as long as it's small...pocket size.

~/~ Please decorate the cover of your journal; it doesn't have to be elaborate, just make it look nice. sticker slap if you want.. just put something on it - and the month/year

I think this will be a fun and wonderful way to journal our month of January, especially if you are a busy person and don't have the time to write a whole page. Add something small from your day if you wish too.. decorate the pages if you wish.. whatever floats your boat.. ! It is your choice..

I am making this swap international because since these small notebooks are so light, the postage won't be much at all.

Do not join if you have the slightest doubt that you will be able to commit to this and be able to send on time, even if you go on vacation.

I reserve the right to drop people from the swap with or without comment, for safety of my swappers. The reasons may be right or they may be wrong, but I would rather be safe than sorry. I will angel swaps..

Do we swap journals? Or, how do we get credit for participating g in this swap?

@FLCindy Yes, you write a journal, with one sentence about your day, each day, then send it by the send by date to your partner, who will rate you when it arrives.

I participated in a couple of these a few years ago and it was so much fun to take a peek into the life of my partners.

I really love this idea! What a fun and unique swap! I'm defiantly in!

Other questions: Will this continue in future months? Also, can we take our journal to the copy store and send a copy of our January Sentences for January as opposed to sending the entire journal? My reasons are two fold: reduce postage and keep my journal to continue to writing a sentence a day throughout the year. Thank you for answering my questions. This type of swap is new to me.

@FLCindy the swap description says send a small journal. You could make one. Or buy a small spiral-bound notepad. You could do two; one for you to keep and one you write your sentences to send to your partner. Like I do. If things run smoothly, I will continue this swap series into the future.

I was just wondering-I have a small journal that I'm writing in but my entry's end up being 2 or 3 sentences---is that okay?
