Description:

Welcome to the Newbie Helpers Magazine Clippings - March 2017 swap! I plan on hosting this swap once every month!

There are so many different magazines from all over the world. Let's clip out some fun images and send them to our swap partner!

For this swap, you will send 1 partner 20 clippings from magazines. Here are a few rules:

  • SEND A GOOD ASSORTMENT! Please send all different types of clippings (don't send just 20 clippings of a hamburger!)
  • SENDER'S CHOICE! You can start putting your clippings together now!
  • Send the clippings flat - please don't fold them!
  • Be sure to include the swap name and your swap-bot user name with your envelope!

This swap is international because it will be inexpensive to mail and that way we can receive goodies from all around the world!

  • Minimum swap rating 4.9
  • Newbies are welcome with a completed profile.
  • No recent unexplained 1s or 3s
  • Must have logged in to swap-bot within 3 days prior to partners being assigned.
  • I will review all swappers prior to assigning partners and remove anyone who seems questionable.

I'm leaving the sign ups open for 1 week to allow people time to gather their clippings. You will then have 1 week to mail your envelope to your partner.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I've never done one of these swaps. Do you leave a margin around the picture when cutting it out? Or are you supposed to cut right around the image?

I would leave a margin - that makes it easier to use if it's going to be glued down.

The maximum envelope size for first class postage in the US & Canada is 11-1/2 inches long, 6-1/8 inches high and 1/4-inch thick, but the clippings have to be sized to your envelope since folding is forbidden

You just answered my question: NO FOLDING! Thanks. LL
