Description:

The first time I was in this swap, in 2007, when it was hosted by a dear friend, who Is no longer in swap-bot. I've seen lots of variations of if over the years, but I am returning to the simple.

You will have two partners, (that means you will get two ratings.)

You will send each one of them a postcard, with a stanza, or a few lines of a poem that has touched your life in some way.

Please credit the author, unless you've written it yourself.

Do not put your postcard in an envelope to mail. These are to be addressed, to your partner, with a stamp attached and then mailed.

It is VERY important that you write, maybe along the margins, your own name, the name of the swap, and the date you are mailing it. Be sure to also click the SENT button on this page, so you won't get marked down, just because the postal serice might be slow.

Please use a picture postcard. (Sender's choice!)

this is an international swap, open to everyone, including newbies, who have a complete and well thought-out profile.(Most of my swaps are newbie-friendly, with only ONE rule. You must have a complete profile. Since it is my only rule, I am quite strict about it.

Your swap partners want to get to know you! So be sure to take care of iright away, before partners are assigne, in order to remain in the swap.
I hope you have FUN with these!

Any questions, or concerns, please just ask, or message me.

What is a picture postcard?

Would it be alright to use one of those colouring post-cards, coloured in?

gramsbuttonbox 02/ 3/2018 #

yes, you can certainly send a coloring PC - you can either color it yourself, or send it to your partner to have some fun with it!

a "picture PC" just means it it NOT one of those blah plain beige-colored PCs, with NO picture anywhere - -

if you can find on that shows off your own corner of the world, that would be wonderful!

welcome and I hope you have a lot of fun with this, and make lots of wonderful swapping friends..

I am honored that you have chosen this swap, as your initiation to swapping, and thank you for joining my swap.

I also see you have signed up for the "Just to Say Hello swap - that one is hopefully designed to attract some international swappers, and I hope you will receive a swap partner that you will enjoy for many years. There are many swappers who have signed up for both of these, several times - they are both quite popular swaps, and I do run them frequently, and yes, you certainly would be welcome to sign up again and again, as they run.

happy days, and thank you for joining my swaps... gramsbuttonbox (mary)
