Description:

Well, I'm new to Swap Bot and this will be my first time hosting a public swap (I do have one private one going) so I wanted to make it something fairly easy and inexpensive.

:::Cue the Mission Impossible background music:::You mission, should you choose it, will be to make three (3) homemade bookmarks and send one to each partner. Please look over your partner's profile page to see what kind of things they like and keep that in mind while making theirs. They need to at least be made of sturdy paper but waterproof would be preferable since some of us drink and read or get stuck in the rain. This is pretty easy to do--just get some clear shelf paper to cover your finalized creation and you're good to go! If you have access to a laminating machine--even better! :-) Please make your bookmarks approximately 1.5 inches by 7.5 inches or if smaller, designed to clip to the page (if you're not sure what a clip style bookmark is, this is [an example](http://www.mileskimball.com/MilesKimball/images/p109786b.jpg"Clippy Book Mark"). The idea is to make them big enough to work with a paperback or hard bound book. Send extra bookmarks or other stuff for hearts!

Newbies are welcome with a filled out profile (for obvious reasons), International is welcome as well. I reserve the right to boot anyone with any recent No Sends unless you contact me explaining the circumstances.

What exactly does it mean when you say "designed to clip to the page?" That part confuses me a bit.

Wow, great idea!! Just love it :) Magnets should work to clip it to the page.

Here's a quick link to the clip type bookmarks. I just happened to have it handy because of the banner ad here at Swap Bot: http://www.photojewelrymaking.com/photopicturesilverbookmark13mmround.aspx. I have to go to an appointment in a few minutes but I will try to see if I can figure out the markup coding that they use here to add a link in the swap description. Magnets are a great idea too! :-)

Here are some more possible examples to use. http://www.chinasprout.com/shop/BBM030

[Here is an example](http://www.mileskimball.com/MilesKimball/images/p109786b.jpg"Clippy Book Mark") of a clip on style bookmark. I used markdown code for the first time! YAY! :-)

I'd welcome a book thong - but I am not sure yet if I'll be able to join the swap.... PM me if you want to set a private swap.

I don't understand how we're supposed to make clip style bookmarks out of paper.
