Description:

I love the idea of collaborative journal swaps, but I can't afford the postage. So instead of everyone putting their work into a single bound book, we will be be journalling on individual sheets of paper that can be hole punched and put into a binder by the recipient. I'm hoping to host this swap monthly if there's enough interest.

Each swap will have a different theme. Swap #1s theme is Lists, more details will be found at the bottom of this description.

The minimum you are required to send is a single sheet of 8.5x11 paper with your journal entry that meets the swap's theme requirements (some swaps will only need one side filled, others may require both sides). Anything more you want to add is entirely up to you (additional pages, extra decorations, etc).

There is no rule about what kind of paper you can and cannot use, just that it must be 8.5x11 AND the ink(s) you are using should not bleed through the paper. No pencil is allowed for the main part of the swap's themed requirements, but you can use pencil for any additional decoration if that's your medium.

Journal entries can be handwritten or typed or any combination there of. You may fold the sheet neatly for mailing.

Do not forget to include your Swap-Bot username on your entry. Your real name and address is optional on the journal entry itself.

Swappers will be banned if they have any 1s to active members, an excessive number of 3s, any 3s that are less than 3 months old or any 1s or 3s that aren't explained. I will angel if you make the appropriate contact with your partner and me and once you have rated your partner accordingly. Newbies are allowed.

Okay! So the theme for swap #1 is Lists. You are required to create 6 different lists, each with a minimum of 5 items. The lists can be of whatever you want (favorites, best of, to-do, etc, etc) in any combination you want. This can be one sided or two. The page needs to be decorated in any way that illustrates your lists (the decorations must reflect the content of your lists).

EDIT To be clear, your lists are intended to fit on one piece of 8.5x11 and it can be single sided or front and back. If you want to use multiple pages for your lists, that's fine, just make sure the sheets of paper are the right size 😊.

And yes, you are allowed to fold your sheet(s) neatly for easy mailing.

If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment or send me a message.

Hello! Love this swap idea! Would like to clarify some things before I join:

1) Can I illustrate all 6 lists on a single sheet of paper?

2) Are we able to fold the page when we send? Or does it have to be sent without being creased?

Hope to hear from you soon!

I love this idea.

Mag: Yes 😊. This is supposed to be all on one piece of paper (single sided or front and back; it's your choice).

Sorry! I'm reading the description again and it does look a little vague. I'll edit it 😊.

Please do not put anything on the back of my pages. Thanks.
