Description:

You need to highlight(bold face) everything that you have done. Along the way you might get inspired to try something new or not.

Manny has suggested checking out our lists in five years time. I remember participating in a Youth Leadership camp where we wrote letters stating what we would like to achieve in 5 years time. It was posted to us. What a great surprise in five years time when I received my letter and I had done everything on my list!

what a wonderful idea Simone :-)

Artistic 12/ 4/2008 #

What a great list! Does it have to be e-mailed? A letter would be great.

Lori 12/ 4/2008 #

This sounds like a lot of fun!!! Looking forward to it!

Simone 12/ 5/2008 #

Artistic - I will set a snail mail one in a day or two.

neca84 12/ 5/2008 #

Im not sure I understand totally, do we use the above list, highlight what we have done? Mark what we reaklly want to do and what we never want to do?

Using the above list?

sorry for being a thick head

carol 12/ 6/2008 #

I have the same question as neca84. It's not really clear what we do. It sounds intriguing, but I'm confused! Do we use the list above or create a list of our own, or add to the list above???

alifromourpatch 12/ 6/2008 #

you do what you said Neca84 :-)

alifromourpatch 12/ 6/2008 #

you do what you said Neca84 :-)

Simone 12/ 7/2008 #

Yip - that's right neca84

I have done this already so you can go to http://simonesbutterfly.blogspot.com/2007/12/looking-for-inspiration.html as an example.

For the swap I will see if I have any changes to my list.

elletheduck 12/ 7/2008 #

Thanks for letting a newbie join, and I look forward to talking to some of you!

angelstar 12/10/2008 #

I'm assuming we can add stuff in parentheses - our own notes - or remove the ones above that don't apply to us.

Simone 12/10/2008 #

yes you can put stuff in parenteses

-Think is better if you leave the list in tact.

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

What do you mean by a huge sports event? You mean a baseball game, or a hockey game like at Fenway Park in Boston or The Boston Gardens. I've seen the Red Sox play and whatever the major Hockey team in Boston is - I've seen them. It was quite some time ago, but I consider these huge. :-)

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

I certainly won't delete any of the items on the list, but I will add stuff in parentheses.
Sounds like fun!

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

This is a GREAT list!! But.... Sorry to be such a bother, but somebody's got to do it! :-) Some of these are confusing.

33 - Do you mean a total eclipse of the sun?

40 - I assume you mean the 50 states of the U.S.A.

92 - I assume you don't mean actually digging the hole. I assume you mean to bold this if one or both parents are dead. Unless you do actually mean having dug the hole.

98 - You mean fainted?

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

What the heck !??! I didn't do the above list in large font. At least I didn't mean to! Hmmmmm..... I did put a number sign in front of them which is no longer there.
I guess that made them #Large. So, I guess a number sign in front of something will make it large.

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

Well, sometimes. I will leave you now.......

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

I'm still here. :-)

12 - You mean being actually out at sea, right? And seeing a storm there?

Not just seeing a storm from the beach or a wharf or on Cape Cod (Massachusetts) or something?

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

Oops! I did it again.

angelstar 12/11/2008 #

68 - It is possible. You marry the person and stay married for life, or something similar.

Simone 12/11/2008 #

No Problem:

33 - Total eclipse of moon or sun (lunar or solar) 40- yes its of the US ( I have visited all the 9 Provinces in South Africa and 5 States in the US) 92. Yes - if one or both parents are dead 98.yes - this can include fainted, passed out because of an accident or being drunk etc.

12- You could have have been on the shore - must be a lightening storm (that's how I interpreted it not sure who originally wrote the list its a meme that has been floating in blogland)

angelstar 12/12/2008 #

Thank you so much, Simone, for answering my questions and clearing up my confusion !

angelstar 12/12/2008 #

By the way: D&D is Dungeons and Dragons - a game that a lot of people are obsessed about. :-)

angelstar 12/12/2008 #

One more question: Can someone join this swap (email) and the other one (snail mail) as well?

Simone 12/13/2008 #

Definitely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom2blu 12/30/2008 #

I signed up, hope I do it right. I'm about to post it to my blog now. My rather dead and far to long abandoned but coming back to life hopefully blog.
