Description:

You will have 1 partner for this swap. You will take a journal or notebook and write in it for one month. The thing you have to do is each day a poem you like. Nothing else, a poem. The or poem can be as long as you want.

You can decorate the journal if you wish or you can just leave it plain

REQUIREMENTS TO BE ALLOWED IN THIS SWAP:

-No recent 1's or 3's. I will be checking all profiles and comments on profiles.

-No ratings lower than 4.99.

-You MUST have have a fully filled out profile to participate. Not just a couple of sentences or one paragraph. I'm talking several paragraphs at least. You are a person I'm sure there is more to you than one sentence...

Also I will ban people who I consider dodgy or who might be a fly in the ointment for this swap. I do not want any flakers so I will be watching. I'm the host and I have the right to deliver good swapping vibes to the swappers on here.

Happy Swapping!

If you are a newbie or don't make the ratings cut, pm me and i'll do a private swap with you

poems can be written by anyone, including famous poets

My "a month of poems" journal is done! Sending it out tommorow. I really thank you for hosting this. I am not one for poetry. I have tried to deliberately read poetry, by participating in reading challenges, but those did not work out well for me, perhaps because there is not much to "discover" in an anthology curated by another individual, & I unfortunately picked REALLY abstract ones.

This swap really helped me to enjoy poetry, at least, SOME poetry. I read a lot, all online, from all sorts of sources that I could think of. I did not note each. Some I really enjoyed, but were too juvenile to share, some were "tldr", yes, I'm embarrassed, but it is true, I STILL don't have patience for very long poetry. I browsed a lot of contemporary & Indian poets. This was a GREAT experience.

Thanks also, for keeping the swap so ..."Spartan"! It made me focus on the real thing - finding poetry that I understand & enjoy, whether happy or sad.

It is futile to ask NOW, but am I supposed to date the entries?
