Description:

I appoligise if this has been done before.

For this swap you will have one partner who will email you a photo of their choice. They will include with it any information about the photo eg, date, the story behind the photo, names etc to give their partner a feel for the photo and subjects involved.

You will print out the photo on photo paper and scrapbook a 12 x 12inch (30cm x 30cm) finished page for it, to send to your partner. Embellish, stamp whatever as you would for one of your own pages. This is a great way to learn some new techniques and ideas from your partner.

This will be an international swap only 4.8 and over with 10 or more completed swaps.

This sounds like a great idea. What's the best way to mail the pages after we're done? I've never seen 12x12 envelopes :p

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I am planning on cutting 2 pieces of cardboard just a hair bigger, sandwiching it and tapeing it very well, Hope that helps!

You can also get ziplock bags then wrap it up that way it won't get wet in the mail.

I send 12 x 12 pages sandwiched in cardboard and taped. They have always made it just fine.

I was thinking of making a swap exactly like this!! I might still host one similar (if it's okay with you) but I'm pretty sure I'll join this. Just watching until the date gets closer! Yay!
