  • Like to get some truly original art in your mailbox?
  • Wanna have the mailman scratching his head?
  • How weird can your art get?
  • Create some quirky, eccentric, strange, queer and bizarro masterpieces.
  • Send one each to 4 partners.
  • This is an international swap.
  • All media welcome
The cool thing about mail-art is you can do whatever you want. Many folks make cards or small artworks and send them inside hand decorated envelopes. Some people make there own stamps or stickers or use rubber stamps in a creative way. Hand drawn, painted and collage postcards are often seen. Mail-art is a very public form of art where the postal workers get to enjoy your work as well as the recipient. So please feel free to create whatever you want. I know it can be a little intimidating when there are few rules or conventions, but the real fun in mail-art is in the process of creation. This is REALLY coloring outside the lines.

Is it 4 or 6 partners? The swap announcement says 4 and the text says 6.

ahh, sorry, the original was 6, but i made it four. I'll change it now =)

Yey, a p/c swap that does not encourage cuteness and pastels abd teddy bears and country crafts!!! Thanks!

That's also a hint that I do not so much want these sorts of themes, unless they can somehow be bizarre.
