I love photography and crafting with paper. I just started making and sending my own postcards. I taught myself to crochet a few years ago but haven't been doing much lately. I also participate in Postcrossing and after I collect enough cards, I want to bind them into a book.
I don't watch much TV. My favorites are House, Monk, the Daily Show, the Colbert Report.
Anything in print. I read every chance I can get.
I'd prefer handmade cards. If a card tells me something about you it is more interesting. Tourist postcards are ok if you don't make your own. I'd love to see the postage stamps your country is issuing. I love vintage postcards, old books, and other old ephemera. I try to use vintage paper in my swap items as much as possible. I collected stamps as a kid and I'm still fascinated by them although I'm not a collector. I often include them on my postcards. I'm happy with whatever you send me and will be kind in my ratings. However, I do not want any religious items.
I'm 40-something, married with two kids, both boys. My oldest is currently applying to colleges. I'm a doctor and scientist.
I participated in NaNoWriMo for the past two years so have two unfinished novels (YA) to my name.
I love to travel and do so every chance I get. I speak French fluently although I don't get much chance to do so. I dream of going back to Paris often.
I also enjoy hiking, walking on the beach, wilderness and mountain areas.

hiya! just wanted to let you know that the original postcard you sent for the "Quotecard Postcard #24 " was sent to the wrong address.... NOT your fault, but the PO had a hiccup and it went traveling around for a month. i'm glad it finally arrived! and i will upgrade the rating when the second card arrives too. thanks so much! and sorry it took so long for the first card to get here!

Phew! Just seen your post on the May postcards swap about prefering your cards weathered. That's a relief, as I forgot to check for comments on the page, just read your profile, chose your card & wrote it! Phew!!!
Love my vintage B-day postie, thank you for thinking of me:)
