Description:

So, I was walking past my local charity shop and noticed a basket of baby clothes for 19p. Inside the basket was the most lovely, bright, eyepopping fabrics, they were in the form of baby clothes but hey, never mind - I bought some, ran home, slashed them to pieces and made dotees from them!

For this swap you will buy a piece of fabric from a charity shop, don't look at the garment simply choose on the basis that you LOVE the fabric. Make a dotee from the fabric. Inside the swap please tell your partner which charity your dotee supports.

The usual dotee requirements apply - hanger+tail, approximately 4 to 5" body, please let your partner know if it is your trademark to leave the hanger/tail off.

The Legalities

We will send one dotee to one partner, please include a card with your swap name and the charity you bought from in the parcel.

Since dotee's are the perfect lightweight postal item - this swap is international!

Newbies are welcome as long as you have 5 mailed swaps under your belt, you must have a plumpsome profile too!

Extras are great but not at all necessary.

The swap is open to those with a rating of 4.8 and above.

If you don't intend to send then please don't join.

If you don't intend to send on time then please don't join.

If you don't intend to rate then please don't join.

My primary concern is the swapping experience of everyone in the swap, if I think you don't fit the bill then I won't allow you to join. If you think you have been rated unfairly then please tell me your tale and I will take it into consideration.

Does it have to be made from garment fabric, or can it be any fabric from a thrift shop?

I think any fabric from a charity shop would be fine - just choose something that you like!

my swap was sent on the 21st, my Internet has been down the past few days....
