Soooo, I finally finished my Granny's blankie. Yay! I forgot to take a picture of it.

My husband just called me a weirdo when he saw my latest dotee. He rarely admits that anything I make is cool. :(

If you are in the I Spy "You Have Mail" tag and are expecting something from me, I'm sorry but I got kicked out of the group before I could get people's addresses. I spoke my mind about the person who founded the group's being irresponsible and leaving swap-bot. I never said she was going to flake on everything for the record (but she later did!). So, adios.

I make loveys, Babylegs, pony-tail holders, fabric covered buttons, 70s style reversible pinafores...I love the stuff people are doing with wool and felt and so wish I had time to try! I have also been trying my hand at dotees, but I don't think they're as good as I would like them to be.

• FABRIC--I am SEVERELY addicted to kawaii and other unique fabric. My spare room looks like a fabric shop! I am shamefully admitting that I have added POLYESTER (especially double-knits) to my list of addictions! I love the bright colors, crazy patterns and textures. I have gone off the deepend.

• If you're from England, I adore Flapjacks. I also love the premade sandwiches that you guys have in your stores. If you can figure out how to send me a prawn sandwich I'll love you forever. :-)
• Indian pickles! I first had them in London and was hooked! I went to India this month and was soooooo disappointed that I couldn't bring any back (all I had was a carry on bag). I had to make due with the little packets that Continental was serving for the flight. I have only found hot mango pickles one place in the town next to mine. :(

I work A LOT and travel A LOT. I am married to the most handsome Nicaraguan ever, and have two fabulous little princesses. The oldest is three and the youngest is one.

I am originally a Texan, but have lived in California, Oregon, Washington, and now New Mexico.

I adore nice hot baths with good quality bubble bath, essential oils, handmade soap...

I love clear blue waters. I can't get enough of Jamaica and little islands like Truk and Palau. Once I retire you'll find me there!

New Mexico is a unique place. Let me know if you need something like freshly ground red chile. It's the best!
