OMG! I am freaking out. I just found out I got a job on a tiny island down by Guam. No kidding. However, I am about to break out in hives thinking about all the things that need to get done...If you don't see me around this is why!

10/12/2009, my Granny passed away today. I am just happy that I got to say goodbye and that she is not suffering anymore. RIP Cathryn Hammons.

These two cuties made their way all the way from Pennsylvania to live with me. They are sooo precious!! They are looking for their kids!

I work over ten hours a day and travel A LOT, so I am not always in a ton of swaps. I am married to the most handsome Nicaraguan ever, and have two fabulous little princesses. The oldest is four and the youngest is two. I think they are both going on 21. :)

I am originally a Texan, but have lived in California, Oregon, Washington, and now New Mexico.

I adore nice hot baths with good quality bubble bath, essential oils, handmade soap...I love clear blue waters. I can't get enough of Jamaica and little islands like Truk and Palau. Once I retire you'll find me there!

I am a Hoarder and dabble in this and that. I make loveys and simple quilts, fabric covered buttons, dotees, lavender sachets, stuffies...I love the stuff people are doing with wool and felt and I am about to give it a try! I also have some LOVELY new fabric vintage scraps and selvages (thanks ladies!!!) that I about to attempt pouches and purses with.

I love fabric designers such as Anna Maria Horner, Robert Kaufman, Heather Ross, Joel Dewberry, Amy Bulter, Michael Miller, etc. The problem is I don't know where to find them locally. Or maybe that's a good thing...

Pretty much anything you make will be appreciated as long as it looks like you put effort into it! I love handmade stuff.

• Cigarette smoke--YUCK! Sorry smokers. I never liked it in the first place, and then my Gammaw smoked herself to death, so I especially don't like it now.
• Sweet fruity scents.
• Dollar store lotions and body sprays (I think I'm allergic to something in them)
• Malted chocolate stuff like Whoppers. ICK!!
• While collecting little scraps of paper bits of ribbon, brads, etc., appeals to the Pack Rat in me, I don't do any paper crafts. So any scrapbooking or cardmaking stuff you send me will go unloved until I find it a good home.
• I also like postcards but only collect them from places I have been.
• Pet hair doesn't bother me all that much. My doggies are backyeard dwellers, so there's not much of a chance that their hair will get on the stuff I am sending out.

Goodbye Cheryl. You were such a sweet special lady. I'll miss you! And will remember you like this!

Looks like my beautiful cousin Lauren's not going to kick her Stage 4 Breast Cancer again. She was in remission and now it's back with a venegence. She's only 41 and will leave behind a husband and twin teenage boys. She's fighting like hell though!!!!!!
