Description:

For this swap you will write in a journal for 30 days, but each day you must start the journal with "I WISH.....example: Day 1--I wish I had a millon dollars.......Day 2---I wish I could hear.....Day 3---I wish I didn't have to.....You then complete the sentence with your wishes & thoughts. No one word or one sentence answers. You must write at least 4-5 sentences or more about your wish for the day. Try to fill each page as full as possible with your thoughts & alterations.

The journal itself can be hand made or store bought, even a composition type note book will do, just as long as it has 30 pages in it & is 5x7 or larger. Also alter the pages a little with drawings, doodles, pictures, magazine clippings, stickers, etc....The more interesting the pages are the better.

Journal must be hand written. You will have 1 partner to send to. You will have the whole month of August to complete.

Requirements: You must have a completely filled out profile, No unexplained no sends recently, have a rating of at least 4.9. Must have ratings of actual mailed swaps not a lot of ratings for email swaps.

Can I already start writing? In case I forget to write a day every now and then, so I can get 30 pages in time. Or must the dates be 1st, 2nd, 3th etc. of August?

You can start writing anytime you like, the days do not have to be in order such as the 1st, 2nd, etc....

Ok, thnx! I'll start right away :).

I know I am knew, and might not be considered for this swap, but I am really really excited about it! and I really want to be apart of it, so I really hope that you will approve me! Thank you so much! I promise not to flake!!! hehe (My husband is about to deploy to Iraq, and I need something to help pass the time!)

I've had several messages about the journal size, some people wanted a little smaller journal, so I changed the size to 5x7 or larger for the journal size. Hope this helps everyone.

Aw, can I join? I had been running behind on swaps before so I got 3s for lateness, but I NEVER FLAKED OUT! Please let me know! It will be on my Watchlist for now. :3

I was wondering.. Does this have to be an actual store bought journal, so that when we send it to them there are still lots of empty pages? Or can we make a handmade journal that has exactly 30 pages?

I'm interested in joining your swap leathomp but I live in Canada. Any chance you can extend the Regional option to USA/Canada only?

leathomp 07/29/2009 #

To luckyclover...the description above states store bought or hand made, it doesn't matter if there are empty pages left in the journal or exactly 30 pages written it, this is up to the sender.

I have a couple hours to think about this, I'll watch until I decide! Thanks for a clever swap!
