[b]I'm sorry about the 'flaking' lately, but things have been very busy for me and I've been short on money. I'm very sorry that this had to happen, even more when I saw all those great swaps I received myself. I still do intent to send though! So people from the envie full of life, unsual envelope and 100 powerful words: you will still receive something in a while. [/b]

I'm 21 years old and a Religious Education student. I live in Maastricht in the Netherlands, together with my boyfriend and two ginea pigs (who are named Haakon and Marit, like the Norse prince and princess) :). My boyfriend and I are together for five years now. I like (art) journaling, watching DVD's (mostly series like Friends and That 70's Show!), reading and of course crafting things for the swaps!

I like paper craft and arts, but I've never tried a lot of media. So tips and tricks are always welcome! I like making cards, bookmarks, ATC etc. I also paint (aquarel, acryllics) and draw (just regular pencils) a little, but I'm not very good at it, so I don't do that for swaps a lot. I've just started to make collages and I also started an art journal. I'm having a lot of fun doing that.

I've also done a little bit of cross stitching.

I like making dotee dolls, but that is as far as I get with a needle and thread. I would LOVE to sew and make aprons and wallets and such... I'd also love to crochet or knit. These are things I'd like to learn in the future. I think for my next birthday I'll ask for a sewing machine.

I just discovered this swapping, I really enjoy it! I LOVE receiving snailmail, especially when it comes from abroad. I love making bookmarks and swapping teas. I also like dotee dolls, altered matchboxes and ATC's. Things I made I am proud of are to be admired on my flickr photoalbum :).

I currently don't swap a lot, because I'm busy finishing my studies. But I keep asigning for a few swaps, so I won't forget about the fun swapping is ;).

Well, I like:

• Guinea pigs. I have two of them (a sheltie and a rex) and I adore them. Any stuff with guinea pigs on them would be GREAT.

• I also like other animals, especially bears and penguins. I LOVE going to the zoo, I visit a few every year!

• Religious stuff (like icons and idols or rosaries, symbols). This may be things of ANY religion, christianity, hinduism, buddhism, new age, etc. I like the colourful world of religion and find a lot of things interesting. So if you have anything with Jesus or Mary on it, or maybe some arabic writings or hindu gods... Please use it for the swaps you send to me!

• Beads, stickers, stuffies, keychains. (don't know why, probably nostalgia) I would really love to receive a crochetted strawberry or cupcake, since they are so cute and I cannot make them myself.

• Reading and books in general.

• Classic novels and costume films (like Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, North & South, Cranford...)

• Anything 'old' is great. I love things looking retro, vintage, victorian or medieval.

• Cute things with polka dots, checkers or flower patterns.

• Sending and receiving cards and letters, keeping journals. I'm also addicted to notebooks.

• I like swapping tea. I love all kinds of tea! Black tea's, green tea's, herbal tea's, fruit tea's... The only one kind of tea I really hate is liqourice! Yuck!

• I also like indie and punk music, like Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, Lostprophets, Flogging Molly, etc. I love going to festivals, although I don't do this every year because it's so expensive :(.

If you need some inspiration for extra's... I really like to receive tea bags! I'm making a jar with 'special teas' which I received from swaps! I already got some great ones, but I want more! Also embellishments like buttons, beads, pretty papers, glitters, ribbons etc. are great.

I love swapping and I'm not picky at all. I understand we don't have all the money in the world to spend on swapping. What I like are thoughtful swaps, things which are made/picked with care. I like receiving swaps with a kind little note. If you can't send a swap in time, please message me. I will understand!
