Description:

In the words of Rivka C. Berman: "[Sukkot] deals with important matters of faith and unity with laughter, feasts, and song."

And, that is exactly what we will be sending to our partners! One item dealing with:

  1. Jewish Faith

  2. Laughter

  3. Feast

  4. Song

You could send any type of Jewish item from a spice box to shabbat candles, a handmade card to a dreidel. Something for laughter, a book by Shel Silverstein. A feast, for us, would simply be something our partner likes to eat (Kosher if they keep); and song, you could make a CD for fall or a festive theme, a band poster, etc. Handmade or store bought okay!

THESE ARE JUST IDEAS THE ONLY ITEM THAT NEEDS TO BE STRICTLY JEWISH IS ITEM #1! PLEASE feel free to use your own ideas and talents!

You will have one partner, you will send four items, and they should cost around $7-$10 total (not each!). Please check your partner's profile for likes, dislikes, allergies, etc. Kosher foods can be found very easily in the US and Canada - just look for signs like this on the wrappers: Guide to Popular Kosher Symbols.

You can add your preferences in your profile or in the forum below if you keep Kosher or have specific allergies, etc.

You must be a member of Jewish Swappers in good standing. Please no, no-sends. Feel free to contact me directly if you need any assistance!

Thanks for the invite. I'm putting it on my watch list while I figure out if I'm going to have time.
