It's not often (or ever) that we buy a postcard of our hometown, so that's what we'll do here! Go to your local card shop, gas station, souvenir place, etc. and buy 2 postcards that represent your hometown (you'll have 2 swap partners). Write a little note to your partners telling them something cool/fun/interesting about where you live.

If you can't find a postcard of your hometown, get one that represents your region or state (eg. New England, Tennessee, The Rockies, etc.)

This swap in international and open to everyone! So, get to it--show off your hometown!

Can the postcard be in an envelope (in case we want to include souvenirs or photos of our town) or should it be "naked" and stamped? Thanks!

Hi Ogma -- this swap is for a naked/stamped postcard. Have fun!

I am watching right now. My concern is that I have sent some of my hometown out already. What if I get the saem person? Can I send something else to the person of their choice? Let me know because I would like to join. Thanks in advance. Linda

Hopefully you won't get someone you swapped with earlier. But let's stick to a hometown (home area) postcard. Maybe you can jot a note on it telling them something new and different.
