Number of swap partners:2

This is a U.S. only swap. The only cost of this swap is the single postage stamp to send your envelope. This swap is open to anyone with a rating of a 5 OR newbies with completely filled out profiles. You will have 2 partners. Send each of them a minimum of 3 different things, just be sure that you use only ONE stamp to send their envelope of goodies. The things you send can be new, handmade, or used (in good condition and use-able). Some examples of what you could send: drawings, stickers, gift tags, bookmarks, ribbons...whatever you can think of that you think would be fun to recieve. There is not a big amount of time for the send by date, as this is supposed to be a fast swap (hooray for instant gratification!). Please be sure to rate your partners after recieving your envelope, as there are likely to be newbies who need to build up their ratings. And when you DO rate your partners, keep in mind that you are not rating their skill level, or taste, or time spent....you are only rating that they met the requirements....of course if your partner does go the extra mile and send awesome goodies and/or extras...be sure to give them a heart and some nice comments! Happy Mailing! ***************I just changed the send by date from Sept 3rd to Sept 4th as the 3rd is a holiday, and thus a no mail day, so everyone has plenty of time to get their envelopes out********************

GypsyMermaid 08/28/2007 #

enakitty 08/28/2007 #

enakitty 08/29/2007 #

*************** tip for newbies *******************

be sure to include your screen-name and the name of the swap either on the envelope or included on a little note inside....some people are in lots of swaps, and this will help them to know which swap you are sending for and who you are, so that they can easily rate you

GypsyMermaid 08/29/2007 #

Amberr - be patient, yours is going out tomorrow! For 41 cents there's some pretty cool stuff for collage, ATCs, etc. This is a really fun swap! Great idea, enakitty.

enakitty 08/31/2007 #

Yay! Glad everyone is having fun! :)

I never received my email telling me who my partners are. I'm very glad I checked to see if they had been posted. Can anyone tell me why I didn't receive an email like I have in the past?

enakitty 08/31/2007 #

craftybeth....i'm not sure, i will use my extremely limited computer knowledge to try and figure it out....but maybe some-one else would be able to shed some light... (i don't think i've ever recieved emails telling me who my partners were in any swaps....but can't remember for sure!) :) i'll let ya know if i figure it out! :)

pattyb0625 08/31/2007 #

This is my first swap and i'm loving it!

szreader and ashleyarsenic...I sent yours out today...hope you like! :-)

Are we supposed to email our partners to tell them their envelope is on the way - or let them be surprised? I sent mine on the 31st :0) So glad I found this swap-bot thing - having a GREAT time!

enakitty 09/ 2/2007 #

no need to email anybody....if you wish, you can post here that your items were sent (as some others have done)...be sure to use their screen name only tho.....or you can let them be surprised!

enakitty 09/ 2/2007 #

p.s. be sure to click the "i've sent my items" link after you send your items :)

szreader 09/ 2/2007 #

ooooooooooh -- both my sending partners left a comment, which is cool. about the e-mail, it doesn't give your partners' names, it just says, "time to start swappin'" or some such. I think it's automatic, but I might be wrong. it seems to be a form letter type of e-mail, to me.

leiapico 09/ 3/2007 #

szreader is right, it is a form letter that is sent out when partners have been assigned. i usually log on and check "your swaps" to see which swaps i can view partners for each day, instead of relying on the emails which are all the same except for the swap title :p

grneyedraven 09/ 4/2007 #

Opps! I didn't use a letter envelope, I used what I had here at home which was a small mailer...still used one stamp! Hope that counts...didn't realize it was a letter one, it just said one stamp! LOL! Oh well. Still cool goodies.

enakitty 09/ 4/2007 #

i think that's just fine grneyedraven :) you're still within the parameters of the swap...no worries!
