Please interpret the motifs as you like, though you may want to explain if your interpretation might not be obvious.

mmm? Don't quite get the difference between inspired but not inspirational. If I have been inspired by something and include that in my swap then by definition does that not then make the swap item inspirational? Or am I reading too much into it? Please help my confuddled brain, perhaps with some examples?

That's the magic of my scavenger hunt swaps :-) I leave it up to the sender to decide what fits the motif and when the sender is not 100% sure their interpretation will translate, a lovely note is always a great way to add a personal touch to these simple exchanges.

"Inspired" to me could mean something handmade (by myself or someone else) that inspired me to want to create or do something: or a card with an inspiring (as in motivational) quote :)

I see "inspired" as something produced by someone who was personally inspired to create it (such as the Sistine Chapel, Taj Mahal, Mona Lisa, William Tell Overture, etc. - or even something spectacularly natural, such as Niagara Falls, Mount Everest, the ocean floor); as opposed to "inspirational", which is something created to inspire someone else. Indeed there are many things in this world that could be in both categories at the same time. (";)

This is why I love, love, love to leave the motifs a teeny, tiny bit vague :-)

I just realised that some of the best swaps/requirement descriptions I've seen, even if I haven't taken part, were hosted by you, so count me in on this one too. I just saw it on your profile page. :)
