Description:

Lets try a totally different ATC swap than usuall today :-D

Create one ATC using stickers ONLY.

You can use any color ATC blank (or just cut exactly 3.5 x 2.5 inches of the heavyweight paper or cardstock), but then you can use nothing else but stickers ! Use at least 5 different stickers from at least 3 different themes (so its NOT ok to use sticker books or kits, you must dig into your sticker collection and come with something interesting). You can cut them into pieces if you like, layer them, punch them, twist them, tear them etc .... but no other media than stickers is allowed!

Even though we use stickers today, you must use them in some clever way, which means that at least the main ATC motif will not be just one big sticker, but at least two which together will create some interesting suprising motif (you can of course make the main motif or pattern from many many little ones :-) ).

Lets have fun and dont be afraid of the crazy ideas ;-)

PS: Newbies welcome but I will ban anyone suspicious so If you are new please fill at least 3 sections of your profile and send message to the swap coordinator (me ;-) ) if you can participate. I need to be sure that you are ready to take this website seriously.

I did a stickered ATC swap this summer, but didn't have the courage to make it all-stickers. I'm glad you did! I'll be watching this one!

This looks like a fun swap! Are we only supposed to use flat stickers, or can we use things like scrapbooking stickers?

This is awesome... I have literally thousands of stickers from my 7 years as a Creative Memories consultant and scrapbook addict... Can't wait to get started...

You can use any stickers you have but as i said they should not be all from one theme sticker sheet or sticker book and the ATC motif should emerge from somehow creatively combining them. You can even use a piece of this sticker, piece of that sticker etc ....

Only thing that is explicitelly forbidden is to replace your creativity by picking one huuuuge sticker that would practically dominate the whole ATC (although there would be formally added few other tiny stickers that would not bring anything new). In such case only considerable artwork is done only by that sticker designer but not you ....

And even if you would use some scrapbooking sticker, please remember you are creating an ATC, not a scrapbook or thank you card etc., so please make it interesting!

Great idea! :)

Do scrapbooking elements that have depth count as stickers? Technically, the back are sticky.

We will stick with traditional kind of stickers that you will find in most online stores in sticker section - like paper, cardstock and epoxy stickers, ok? :-) Technically I can sit in a puddle of glue but that will not make me a sticker, not to mention that you would hardly manage to put me in ATC sleeve ;-D

Oh, ok. Hm. I guess I'll wait to join until I see if I can find the sticker I want for what I want to do. BTW - I use the scrapbooking type things on ATCs all the time. A bit of depth will still fit in a sleeve. Heck, with 3 Scrabble tiles glues on they will still fit in a sleeve. :)

*glued

I'm the same as unvlmom - hundreds of stickers from creative memories - worked out a way to use lots to make the background paper. Woohoo.
