Swap-bot is my relaxation. A little bit of crafting every night.

I was born in the UK, but spent most of my life in New Zealand. 6 years ago we moved back to the UK and lived in Scotland for 5 years. We have now settled for good in Milton Keynes. I have 3 grownup daughters and 1 son-in-law, all living in the UK.

Since settling in the UK I have discovered I have a half-sister, I've made contact, we've met and become great friends. As a child I always wished for a sister and now dreams come true. Life is good.

I was a chemistry teacher for 25 years but now I have my own business training people to understand human behaviour using the DISC tool. I published my first book - called "DISCovering the Ultimate Tool" in 2010.

My eldest daughter and I have bought 3 hair salons. We are not hair dressers just business people so I have plenty of challenges to keep me young at heart.

Ratings - I promise to send out swaps on time. My word is my word. I work from home, use my laptop all day so I rate the day I receive swaps. I get so excited when I hear the postman!!

2011 has been the year of developing my Art Journalling and ATC style.

I don't paint (too messy) I don't draw (too difficult) I'm a collage kind of girl (love the glue and scissors)

Probably stuck in a time warp of 70's & 80's music. Queen, Michael Jackson, Supertramp, Pink Floyd and Abba.

Love the classics, read anything really. Currently a lot of business and personal development books.

Colours - cream, purple,turquoise, pink and blues.

Food - love it all especially savory things (it shows)

People - My Family and meeting new people

Cats - had 4 in NZ but can't have any here as we're renting. So been collecting cats, ones with a use like bowls, toothpick holder, plant holders etc. not dust collecting ornaments. Love cat crafty things like stamps, stickers, papers.

Stationary and all stuff crafty. Love paper, the colours, patterns and the feel and smell of it. Love pens & pencils. I can spend ages in these types of shops - looking & touching.

I love notebooks and boxes. Notebooks to open and look at the lovely paper and sometimes write in. Boxes to put things in. Love em!

Birds & butterflies - They are so cute. I've started to collect stamps.

Taking photos especially my family and the wondrous nature all around us.

People who moan, complain, be nasty about other people, or spiteful or who think they are right and don't listen to others' point of view. Life is just too short.

Parsnips and tripe.

Housework - it just reappears the moment you've finished. But I like things to be tidy, especially the kitchen and lounge but not necessarily my craft area LOL.

I mostly watch films and reality shows like Masterchef, Apprentice, Mary Queen of Shops, Dragons Den.

My latest crafts are ATCs and art journalling. I am endeavouring to develop my art and creative side so any bits suitable for that would be appreciated especially vintage.

I would prefer not to receive teacher stickers as I am no longer in school.

Really I'm very easy to please and will enjoy anything if you have chosen or made it specially for me
