I don't know if you are like me but I love scarves almost as much as I love socks. For some odd reason though, I don't own one. Just admire all of the ones at the store every year. There isn't even a reason. I love thin ones, bright ones, striped ones...all types that are cute.

For this swap, you will send a one (1)scarf to your partner. Scarves can be handmade or bought in a store. Feel free to leave a comment is you have a color preference or type you prefer. If you do not see a comment left by your partner, go check out their profile. I'm sure you'll get some ideas.

To recap you will have: *ONE partner *Send ONE scarf within the day requirements

Everyone is welcomed! I'll be checking your profile, so those who have 1 or 3 recently, I have to know why, okay?

Hope this is a successful swap!

I was just wondering why the scarf has to be store bought? I was actually just about to start on a scarf making kick since the weather has officially turned cold, making one would be acceptable for this swap?

Honestly I made it store bought because I don't have the talent to make one myself and would feel bad if I received a gift someone took a long time making and in exchange I bought one in under an hour. But I'll adjust and accept handmade scraves as well =) The dates will be adjusted as well.

i make scarves and i have an amazing store that i buy from, so i can do both. however if someone wants to do a private swap, please message me :) i am allergic to wool so hopefully my partner will agree to sending me something i'm not allergic to!!

jterrazas 10/24/2010 #

I will make sure to send a reminder to your partner about you being allergic to wool.

Yay! I am so happy to find a swap like this! I am a knitter and plan on knitting a special scarf for my partner. Would it be too much to ask to also get a partner who is willing to send a homemade one too?

I will be buying my scarf, I don't have a talented bone in my body lol. I prefer soft scarves, I wear a lot of dark colors ( black, red, blue, green, )

I just finished another scarf swap-lots of fun! I think this one will be,too! I crochet and knit;but if my partner does not and wants to send a store bought one, that's fine! No wool, etc. for me,please! I am very allergic!

hi. i like any color. i do not like skulls.

I am excited, I LOVE scarves. I like any sort of scarf, and will love whatever color you choose. I prefer scarves of the longer variety, as my school is on a hill and very windy, so I wrap them about my head several times to stay warm walking to class! But like I said, absolutely anything would be wonderful, storebought or handmade :D

I have taken a year or so off from this site and am excited to do this swap! I would love to try and make a scarf, but if I run out of time I will end up buying one for my partner. I prefer ones on the longer side and am not a huge fan of "poof balls" on things. I haven't been wearing many primary or pastel colors lately, mostly rich or rustic colors, if that helps. I'm sure that whatever my partner sends will be great! =]

Is bamboo ok with everyone? I noticed a couple of wool allergies.

Super excited about this swap! I'm open to handmade or a store bought scarf, just know in advance that my partner will receive a store bought scarf because I am not talented enough to make one sadly. Also, I tend to not be a fan of pastel colours or pom poms on scarves, and I'm on the short side (5'2) and I live in TX so I don't need an extra long scarf or anything.

jterrazas 10/30/2010 #

I love dark reds, purples, teals! No light colors!

ya, blues - mint green - Peaches and roses - gray or black will always work...or something completly wacky
