Description:

One Tiny Thing swaps are based on the idea that you'll be crafting, literally, one tiny item. Tiny refers to the actual size of the item but even though it's small, it should be an item that is crafted with a high level of skill. If it's a simple/easy item for you to craft, try to embellish or perfect it to best represent your skills. (For example, a needlebook can have beading or embroidery on it to really jazz it up.)

How do you know if your idea is "tiny?" Examples: A coin purse is tiny; a clutch purse is not. A pair of earrings is tiny; a necklace, earrings, and bracelet set is not. A trinket box is tiny; a pencil box is not. An ATC (artist trading card) is tiny; a full-size drawing is not. A pair of small barrettes is tiny; one large barrette is tiny; a selection of barrettes is not. (If you're not sure if your idea qualifies as "tiny," ask me!) All items should be 4"x4" or smaller. ~ I totally stole this from the Craftster site - why reinvent the wheel?

Rules of this swap:

  • Create One Tiny Thing (OTT) for your partner that is NO LARGER THAN 4" x 4". The item must be handmade and is sender's choice but it would be nice to read your partner's profile to get an idea of what they like!

  • Send only your One Tiny Thing and nothing else. The idea here is to send something nice with little cost!

  • Current theme - Black and white (item can only be black and white, other than that, anything goes)

I love itty bitty things - like dollhouse scale. Would that be an appropriate thing to make and send to my partner? It will be very small, but I will put a LOT of work into it. I can even send a set of things to "fill the package out" if need be. I don't want to sign up until I know, thanks :)
