Ok, lameness aside, internet memes are one of my favorite things in the world. If you have no idea or aren't sure what a meme is, let me give you an example:

If you still have no clue due to never seeing a LOLcat in your life, this may not be the swap for you. (On a serious note, I am happy to answer any and all questions.)

This will be a quick and easy e-swap! You will have (up to) 5 partners. E-mail your partners your 10 favorite memes. Try to be diverse. I won't be one to denounce the hilariousness of LOLcats lest I suffer the wrath of ceiling cat, but the point is to share the lulz and hopefully expose your partner to something they've never seen before. If you think a reference may be obscure, please include a sentence or two explaining what it is or where it's from.

FINE PRINT: Note that by joining this swap you might be subjected to perverse humor and dirty language. I won't say that the swap needs to be absolutely clean, but please use your better judgement and keep swears and naughtiness to a minimum. Do not send your partner illegal or explicit/graphic material. This swap is open to all members in good standing. Flaking and late-sending on an e-swap is absolutely ridiculous.

You say that if the reference is obscure, one might explain it with a sentence or two. I LOL at some Finnish memes but they are in FINNISH... yeah.. so, may I add these and maybe explain in English what is going on but is that a stupid idea? Maybe it depends on the meme though... or maybe I could add them as "extra"?

I LOVE foreign memes. A lot of the time, it's pretty hillarious even without understanding it. Of course you can send them and you can try to explain them if you want and if it's possible.

Um just wondering, we've only received pictures so far and I was wondering how it would go if I send a bunch of links to Youtube videos, stuff like that? I'm just a video meme type of girl. eh. And to my understanding memes can be basically anything. I do have pictures too!
