Description:

I have been asked by several people to host "Round 2" of the past colors so here goes - sorry the description is so long but seems like I get questions everytime so just trying to cover everything upfront.

The object of this series is to make sets of inchies that are monochromatic. In the past we have done "Tickled Pink", "Lavendar & Lace", "Green with Envy", "Purple Rain", "The Black Market", "Family Jewels", "Seeing Red", "I'm so Blue" and "Orange you glad...", "White Out", "yellow Submarine" and "Pastels"

This installment is "TICKLED PINK ROUND #2".

Make 6 inchies each for 2 partners (12 inchies total). These 12 inchies can be any theme/technique you want them to be; however, each inchie needs to be predominantly PINK in color.

What are inchies? Inchies are little pieces of art that measure 1" by 1" square. You can use a ruler and scissors to draw a grid and cut out your 1" squares or you can use a 1" sqaure paper punch or whatever other method you come up with - they just HAVE TO BE 1" square (no exceptions)!

You can make two identical sets of inchies - one set for each partner, or you can make 12 totally unique inchies. Within each set you can draw one, collage one, paint one, bead one - or use the same medium/technique for all of them. One can be "Twilight", one can be Kawaii, one can be a cat, one can be a zentangle. The only rule is that all the inchies for this swap have to be predominantly PINK in color. Other than the color it is UP TO YOU!

Inchies can be mounted on chipboard or some other super heavy backing - or, they can be two or more layers of cardstock (cereal boxes work well for a second layer). They can even be fabric! I have some inchies on my Flickr - so do some other Swap-Bot members (check out @dobie256 's Flickr!). Search for "inchies" on Flickr for ideas and inspiration!

Check out my Flickr for my inchie canvas with 456 inchies made by me and lots and lots of Swap-Botters!

For my inchie swaps you are not required to write any information on the backs of the inchies - I mount mine to a canvas (check out my profile and Flickr for photos). You don't have to mount the completed inchies to anything for shipping but lots of people do - totally up to you. Six inchies fit really well on a playing card or ATC blank. I've been making those inchie matchbooks for the last few swaps I have sent out.

Since this is a series I will not be allowing rinchies (round inchies) for these swaps - only square inchies.

Sticker and sicker flakes ARE allowed as long as you don't just take a plain piece of cardstock and SLAP a sticker on it (with nothing else). Take you time - be creative - create inchies that you would love to receive!

Let me know if you have any questions at all - thanks! Newbies (with a very well filled out profile) are ALWAYS welcome in my swaps; however, I will ban anyone that I feel is questionable (due to past ratings, etc.).

I received my first inchies today! It was so exciting. Now to work on a display area. I hope the ladies who got mine like them as much as I like my new ones.
