I was so bummed last week when I thought Google Friend Connect was down, but it turns out it no longer works with ancient versions of Internet Explorer. Yay! I can follow blogs again!

For this swap you will leave two comments on each of your partners' blogs and follow using Google Friend Connect. Please post your blog that you want your partners to follow in the comments section below.

You must have the Google Friend Connect widget on your blog. This is the gadget from Google that has a "follow" button and usually is titled "Followers". Any type of blog goes, so don't join this swap if "adult" or other edgy blogs will offend you. Also, check now to see if you can see the Google Friend Connect widget on blogs because if you are using an ancient version of IE, you probably can't see/use the widget and therefore can't join this swap. I recently got Chrome, which works great, or Firefox works. New versions of IE might work, but I don't know. You also must have a blog that allows anyone to comment. You will not be able to join this swap if your blog doesn't allow anyone to comment.

Please do not post your partner's real name when you comment. For example, I blog under an alias, and it bothers me when people post my real name in the comments because it confuses blog readers who know me only by the alias. Additionally, posting real names if your partner doesn't consent could expose your partner's true identity to people he/she doesn't want to have it.

Newbies welcome as long as you have a completely filled out profile by the day I assign partners. If you don't have a filled out profile, you'll be banned. If you are late on any swaps you're currently in, please don't join this swap. You will be banned if you're currently late on swaps. It's not fair to sign up for new swaps when you're not caught up on old ones. No "no sends" in the past six months. Must have a 4.7 rating or above. Please don't join this swap if you don't meet these requirements.

To summarize, to get a 5 rating you must: follow each partner's blog using GFC, leave two comments on each partner's blog and not post any your partners' real names. Use your partners' blogging aliases or don't post your partners' name when you comment.

@Annabell123 it is the "followers" widget in Blogger, or you can go to http://www.google.com/friendconnect. If you're not sure what to look for, go to my blog at http://www.dharmakilleddogma.blogspot.com and look on the right side a little ways down and you'll see "followers".

@nasreen yes it's 5 partners. you rate when the people who send to you follow and comment you. Your responsibility is to follow and comment on the people you send to.

And just to further clarify, it's fine if people want to list more than one blog here, but partners are only required to follow comment on one of them to get a 5 rating. Anything else is extra. ^_^

Just an FYI for anyone who wants to create an actual link to your blog, you put the text you want inside left and right square brackets. Then put the address inside parenthesis.
