Is it normal candy? Or the candy has to have halloween on them? Silly question

Teraceee 08/15/2011 #

In the shops near halloween there are a lot of horror style candy (eg., body parts), or maybe chocolate balls wrapped up like little pumpkins. It does not necessarily have halloween on them. When kids go trick or treating they can get some really random candy. So if you can get anything suitable for halloween, then send that, if not just send a variety of ordinary candy. (Not everyone will be able to get hold of halloween candy, as it seems a bigger celebration in some countries than others.). Last year from the USA I received some big chocolate balls wrapped like pumpkins, they were filled with peanut butter. (They were awesome).

SOund cool swap, but since don't celebrate halloween here in Norway, won't be much of halloween themed candy :( But thanks for the info, i understand it now :)

I would like candy from Norway :)

sounds like fun..

Yeah, @notme78 I don't think anyone would be upset to get candy from Norway, even if it wasn't Halloween themed. I personally plan on sending Halloween themed candy, because I get a kick out of eating a gummy eye ball haha. Will be joining closer to the sign up date :)

I'm allergic to chocolate but any other kind of sweets would be fine :)

Just a note for anyone that gets me I live in Mississippi and it's still in the 90's so if you send chocolate make sure it's wrapped so it will not get all over everything cause it will melt but most will still taste yummy.

I have a gluten intolerance but there is a list of candies I can have on my profile, but any plain chocolate or those with natural ingredients like sea salt, nuts, raisins or other fruit or anything labeled as gluten free or in the allergens warning note near the ingredients it would say wheat.

we're in the 70's now so chocolate has a better chance of surviving now, lol
