Description:

I don't know if anyone has done this before but here we go!

In this swap we will be making 6 ATCs that are all part of one larger design. To be more precise, what we will really be doing is making 6 ATCs that make up one larger design so that if they were all put back together they would make one piece of art. Think of it s a 6 piece ATC puzzle of sorts.

Got it? Good! :)

++++++++++++++

Simply take 6 2.5x3.5 ATC cards, lay them out as one rectangle (or create one work on a 7 x 7.5 inch piece of heavy card stock and cut into 6 equal 2.5 x 3.5 pieces once you're all done), and get stamping, painting, drawing, collaging, or whatever until you have one symphonic piece of art. Your theme can be whatever you desire. Use colors and design that express you! It can be a scene, a fantasy, an embellished painting, or even just beautiful designs throughout.

You will have 5 other partners and you will keep one of the ATCs for yourself. You will also need to include a 3x5 photo or scan of the finished piece as it lays together so your partner can see it all completed and where their piece fits in. Failure to include the photo will result in low rating.

Remember to add to the back of each of your ATC the name of the swap, the edition numbers, your name AND swap-bot screen name, and the date the work was created.

No profiles with unexplained 1's or 3's in the past 6 months.

I will angel if anyone slips up but let's make this a positive swap and follow through on it :) Please message me BEFORE giving a bad rating to see if I can help fix the situation at all.

Please don't hesitate to contact me for any info or clarification, happy swapping!

This is going to sound like a weird question, but would it be acceptable to make one giant piece of art and then cut it into the requisite pieces? I've done an ATC triptych in separate pieces before but it would be much easier, I think, to separate a large piece after it's been worked.

I got what you are saying shadowspun. I agree with you ;)

Yeah that sounds good, whatever makes it easier. :)

Cool. I'm in.

I like doing ATC's this way! Much easier. However....can the photo be sent via email instead of sent with the ATC?

I'd ask your partners once it's assigned but I think a hard copy of it might be nicer and more personal, plus it wouldn't ruin the surprise for your partners before they receive the ATC itself.

Just my two cents :)

Well I don't have actual photos any more just online album and photo books so I have scanned them and will send a print out :)
