About Me

Hi! My name is Kayla and I am a huge sci-fi nerd. I love science, literature, and fan fiction (blushes quietly). I love doing crafty stuff, but I couldn't draw a decent stick man to save my life, so I tend to work in other mediums.

My favorite show of all time is Doctor Who (love me some Tom Baker, go #4!), and my favorite movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas. I read all kinds of stuff, especially a good thriller. I have a super sweet chihuahua named Mia that spends most of her time laying beside me while I work on my most recent crafting project. I get excited about them!

Right now I enjoy making journals and transforming old damaged books into new works of art, so I would love a swap where I could include one as a bonus gift.

I love all kinds of music, from the Beatles to Benny Benassi. Hmm, I think that about covers me. :) Hope to swap with you all soon!

Response: I did make the sonic slowly piece by piece. They're an obsession of mine. I have a working (well lights up and makes noise) sonic for each Doctor. My favorite is 10's sonic. I like to make a lot of his gadgets, espically ones that go ding. ;) So glad you liked it! It was so much fun to work on.

And not usually how I send a package out, but I've had a few international packages get damaged and/or lost, so I was trying to make sure it made it there safe and sound lol

I messaged you on April 1 regarding this and you indicated that you would send another as the first must have gotten lost. I messaged you again on April 20 and again you said you would send another. It's now almost the middle of May. I have no choice but to rate you a 1, however, I will consider changing it if I do ever receive anything from you. I would encourage you to send any swaps that you commit to in the future, as flaking on swaps is highly discouraged and will limit your opportunities to participate in future swaps. You really will be missing out what could be a lot of fun. Best regards, Justene
Response: I did send another letter. I understand flaking is irresponsible and just downright wrong. I will send a third letter tomorrow. If you don't mind, I'm going to pay for tracking on this one. Also, I understand your anger, but as you can see from my profile, I do not flake. In fact, I spent over $30 on shipping on my last international swap. Sending a letter is much less expensive, so I would have no reason to flake. I am sincerely sorry that you haven't received either letter. I worked very hard on them.
