Astridell

I'm 29 and I live in a little town in North Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland. I divide my time between here and my partner's flat which is about an hour away.

My interests and hobbies include: writing poetry, photography and photo altering, making zines (personal ones aka perzines), the theatre, abstract art, assemblage, reading, meditation, finding out about other cultures and ways of life, finding out about how people used to live years ago, watching films I like, music (would love to play the guitar, planning to get lessons one day!), creative healing (very interested in this), watching interesting art/design/craft programmes, and getting letters. I've just been given a pyrography kit so I'm getting to grips with that; it's something I've wanted to try for a long time.

Other things I like: rainbows, robins, stars, sunrises and sunsets, the ocean, wolves, pandas, owls, nature, interesting trinkets.

I'm also part-hippie and part-goth. Very much wanting peace and love for all, but also have a dark side which I often express in my poetry :)

Some of my favourite films are: The Crow, Crocodile Dundee, Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, 8 Mile, The Brooke Ellison Story, The Holiday, The Devil Wears Prada, Stand By Me, War of the Roses, and tons of others.
