I love writing and receiving a handwritten note or letter! I'm a long letter writer, fountain pens and good ink.

I'm 45, married, no kids, love travel, art, love my family and friends, wish the world would slow down a little so we could all take a little more time to enjoy things. I'm a child of the 70s & 80s. Things get blurry for me in the 90s.

I'm pretty liberal. Just so ya know.

I'm a classic rock baby! I'm open to new music ideas, but it wouldn't be far from the truth to say that I haven't bought many records since the 80s.

I love to read. My favorite author is Kazuo Ishiguro--I only wish he would write more books! Also like Murakami, Wharton, Ian Rankin, Nevada Barr, murder mysteries...any suggestions? Enjoy a good book with a nice cuppa tea--earl grey, darjeeling, or fancy versions of black tea are a real treat! Don't like lavender flavor, hazlenut or vanilla.

Don't get out to the movies much anymore. My favorites have been Solaris (Russian version), Local Hero, Matrix (anything Keanu, don't hate me), Miyazaki, and rockumentaries.

Comedies! 30Rock, Parks and Rec, Letterman, Mystery, occasionally Dancing with the Stars (depending on who's dancing)

Knitting, sewing, quilting, baking, just started crocheting a tiny bit.
