It's so great that you feed the birds. So do we. Sometimes I've seen a hawk sitting on tope of one of the bird feeders. I love old cookbooks and also reading menus from the past on the internet.
You have so many wonderful collections. I got nostalgic reading your profile: so many of the things you do are capable of make me smile with delight that people are not neglecting the past.

I love the thought of promoting music in dementia patients. Actually for all patients it can be soothing, or energizing, and really improve the day. You sound very patient and big-hearted. I loved your profile.
Greetings my fellow Ohioan! I hope you are a little bit dryer than I am- we are definitely soggy here in the middle. I love all your cookbooks- I enjoy experimenting with new recipes or thinking about new ways to use what I grow in my garden. I was raised on a farm too- and that's what prompted me to buy a very small one a few years ago. I love the wildlife and the birds and the quiet. I think your work must have been hard, it takes a very caring person to provide that kind of comfort and care.
I'm also with you about people with no common sense. I get irritated when people only think of themselves and don't do simple things like returning shopping carts to their place.
I enjoyed learning about you (and how you got your swapbot ID)-- sending warm wishes to you.
