Hiya, anything can be used on their heads I've made felt crowns or justy had hair no hats etc. see if your library has felt wee folk or check etsy & flickr for some good examples :)

A Dotee doll is basically a kind of Art Doll that has become very popular, because they are so simple and fun to make.
